I don't always cheer for people from Texas, but when I do... It's Colt McCoy

its not colt mania (at least for me).

its "lets not fire our coach for having to pencil colt in as his starting QB".

i dont think we should count on colt being our starting Qb next year. with his noodle arm, we cant call every passing play in the playbook and that is a big prob for me. every post i made, i said colt is a journey man or just another guy.

the fact that gruden is getting good production from colt = gruden is a good passing coach. it does not mean colt is a good qb.

im a broken record. im gonna stop posting my same opinion over and over. i apologize for that.

Y'all can argue all you want about whether Boy Emperor, Two-faced Kirk, or the Texas Noodle is the better QB. But, at the end of the day, it's a little like arguing Rex vs. Beck, because we don't have a starting QB on the roster.

Time for an offseason overhaul at QB...again.

I disagree.

I think if we can get a stable O-line on the guard position and find a safety who isn't trying to boost his espn resume. You can for sure be a great team with McCoy at QB. Atleast have him coach up a young QB.. Even if that QB is Kirk.

Shouldnt be hard to bolster the oline and db's with cap money and a first round pick. When was the last time we had all of that?
I agree about Colt and KC. You only have to look as far back as this year! With a secondary and oline this team would have won 4-5 more games imo. We would have won three more without Griff at QB! This team is not as far gone as everyone thinks.
Ive said it once and ill say it again, this is the most crucial offseason we are facing in years. If we eff it up reaching for players and drafting with our heads up our asses than all bets are off and this team can go straight to hell for all i care. Bring in a real GM, and DC - should be priority number one the second the offseason is upon us.

Not expecting Colt to have a great game, something similar to Dallas. Just run the offense. Problem is the defense will probably struggle. Particularly Riley in coverage. He's going to get picked on today.

Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread

If Colt McCoy is able to trigger an effective offense today, then I'm going to let myself start to believe that Jay Gruden can build a competitive team in Washington.

Agreed! Well said!

As I mentioned in the other thread, if Colt plays well, and both the Defense and Special Teams play the way they did last week, I am certain that the game will be close. There might even be a chance that the Redskins could pull out a win.

If TY Hilton and Reggie Wayne can be contained, skins win. Containing Luck will be key.

Nobody picked us. We saw how that panned out last go around. The hour of twilight is here, and the era of Colt is upon us. Bow down mere mortals.

Re: Skins vs. Colts Gameday Thread

I called it last week before McCoy was the starter. He's about to pull off his best Steve Young impression
