Cards vs Skins Postgame Freakout
Welp we really needed that one. Tie is gonna keep us out of the playoffs most likely.
Thank god David Johnson isn't in our division, guy is a beast. He is awesome at getting through tight holes and has an ability for shifty moves within the hole. Twice i saw him perfectly blanketed with coverage...Cravens and Bree...and twice he made great catch for big plays. Look, playoff teams win that game. On defense we are screwed up front...McC didn't get us help at NT or DE in the offseason and it's killed the team. Everyone knew we needed help going into the season and the moves we made weren't good. Also at the backend of the defense at safety we don't have enough coverage talent. The final td to seal the game it reared its ugly head again with no help over the top. Bruton was a bad free agent signing. Cousins was just ok today. Of course Kelly ran well but we didn't go to him enough. Mcvay's inability to scheme a balance offensive attack is holding us back especially in the red zone. He's overrated IMO. Hats off to Carson Palmer today, he was great...Fitzgerald as well.

McVay is doing OK for a first time coordinator, who still learning. Today showed he's not ready to be a head coach, tho.

I feel the same way! First off, you don't throw a fade to a little wide receiver like Desean Jackson! Secondly, Patrick Peterson is a top 3 shut down corner and will effectively defend that play 10 out of 10 times, even against a much taller receiver....that fade was the dumbest play call I ever saw!

It's not rocket science...you build long term winners from the lines out and we really haven't focused on that strongly enough. |

Luavao needs to go. Dude was fuckin terrible today. I think we found our solution at center with Spencer long for the future but Lauvao needs to be replaced.

Re: Cards vs Skins Postgame Freakout
we need to take the L and move on to PHI. If we beat them and NO beats TB we r back in the 6 seed. Also need Dal to beat NY

Re: Cards vs Skins Postgame Freakout
No more freaking out for me. It is what it is. We're a decent/good team on an upward trajectory, with a still severely flawed defense that needs another off season to improve, and probably another 2, to be good. Might get into the playoffs, might win 1 game if we get a good matchup, but that's it, that's the ceiling for this season. I think we'll finish 9-6-1.
