Kory sucks. Long is better. Hope doc is fine next year but Imo we need to add a WR in FA when we let djax go.

Re: Lichtensteiger back, Doctson will wait till next year
I would draft a Wr in the latter rounds 6-7. Any FA signings should be defensive in nature or even an offensive linemen. Doctson to me will be a 50/50 thing. wrs are like Rbs in the draft. Get some 6'4" kid from a Big 12 or SEC school if possible.

With Long out, it makes sense.
Was hoping Doctson would be the pick, but it sounds like he isn't even running yet. Might as well let him heal up 100% and get the play book down this year. Ryan Grant came to life in the Arizona game...I was impressed. Hope we see more of that. I also think Maurice Harris has a big upside. |

Re: Lichtensteiger back, Doctson will wait till next year
Since the new concussion protocol went into effect, the average return time from one is two weeks. I'm not surprised they brought Lichtensteiger back, even though I'm not a fan. Gotta have a backup since the backup is temporarily the starter, and as bad as Steig is he is better than bringing in a FA who doesn't know the playbook.
Really not surprised about Doctson, we don't need him this year anyways considering we have 3 quality options. Just hope he gets fully healthy for next year.

Same here. I'm just hoping Doctson's achillies injury doesn't become a reoccurring thing, during his time here. From what I've heard he has a massive upside if he remains healthy. And he would help the Redskins red zone woes immensely.

At one point, Steiger was actually pretty solid at center, but it seems that since his injuries from a year ago, just isn't the guy anymore. I hope Long can come back soon. Hopefully with Trent back, we can have somewhat of a decent offensive line together. Could be worse, we could have to deal with Polumbus.

Re: Lichtensteiger back, Doctson will wait till next year
The one concern I have about the Eagles game is they will inevitably put either Cox or Logan right overtop of Lichtensteiger and I think Steiger will be right back in Cousins' lap in one second flat. He's just not big or strong enough.
We need Long back.

I'm sure I read an article where Jay Gruden said that Sullivan would start and Kory would be his backup. Has that changed?

You know, my fault. I just assumed, possibly falsely. It might very well be Sullivan.
