Redskins vs Chiefs Pregame Thread

Redskins' steady RB Rob Kelley will resume lead duties once healthy - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN

Id say overall we are grinding out yards, but Perine and Kelly are extremely similar backs....Mack Brown offers more of a burst.

As for the Chiefs we got our hands full on both sides of the ball. Our Oline has to bring they're A game. Defensively I think we can match up but our primary focus should be on stopping Cunt, my bad, I mean Hunt. Tough spot to play on a Monday Night.

KC 26 Redskins 17

KC on a Monday night, doesn't get any more difficult than that. If Kareem Hunt doesn't score a TD, we win. Stopping him and Hill is gonna be tough.

I don't think the Chiefs have played a really good defense. I know the Eagles looked tough against the Redskins, but we lost because of our mistakes. Also I don't believe in their Defense. It is going to be tough going into Arrowhead on Monday night, but with the Redskins defense playing like they are I give us a chance to win.

Skins should be 3-0 as well, too many week 1 mistakes killed us. KC is really good but they won't go undefeated.

Skins by 4

I can't see how KC pulls this off, my only fear is this may be a trap game for us.

Assuming we don't play to KC's level we win 35 to 7. Don't even ask me how KC gets a TD I am just throwing them some symptom.

Probably due to Crowder fumbling another punt.

I assume you're being sarcastic. KC is a solid team and very tough at home. I just hope the Skins don't have a let-down after their great performance on Sunday.

This team has improved every game...I like the momentum we have building. I don't think we will be intimidated when we take the field

Re: Redskins vs Chiefs Pregame Thread

We have improved, in this particular game i think it will rely heavily on the game plan, and in game adjustments which Andy is one of the best at. This is gonna have to be a coaches win IMO.. I think we can try to dominate the LOS and sloe down the run game and the short lateral game they plan.... we need the safety play to stay on par, and control the middle of the field. I do kinda still think we lack a real, consistent pass rush which definitely is a concern. So im not really sure how this shakes out, hope for the best... but i will be preparing for the worst lol.

KC and Alex Smith look great this year, they have a young stud at RB and a solid D. It will be a very tough game, if they play like Monday night, skins win.

Re: Redskins vs Chiefs Pregame Thread

Andy Reid always gave us fits in Philly.

The matchup is tough. Our secondary is playing really well, but the Chiefs don't win with stellar WR play. We have to match up against both Kelce and Hunt, which is tough enough to handle one at a time with an athletic LB or safety, but both is brutal.

Still though we're playing really well and I bet we acquit ourselves here. If this thing were in Fed Ex I might be tempted, but Arrowhead is a factor.

Comes down to the wire but:

KC 23
Redskins 20

I agree with you but 2-2 at the bye is pretty good.

Re: Redskins vs Chiefs Pregame Thread

It's going to be extremely tough to duplicate that performance on Sunday night, which is probably what it will take to beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead on Monday night. I'm not saying they can't do it...hell I didn't think they would do what they did to the Raiders, so the possibility is there. If the D can keep Hareem Kunt and Tyreek Hill in check, and limit Alex Smith's scramble ability, then I say it's a W. If not, or if they lose the turnover battle, then it's 2-2 going into the bye.

Re: Redskins vs Chiefs Pregame Thread

I had us winning against Oakland and losing to KC. I am going to stay with that. I do think the Skins could win, but I expect KC will be well prepared on their home turf.

Chiefs 28
Skins 23

(How did the media let two racist named teams show up against each other, I bet HUGE protests are televised)
