Gutsy win...
Defense should be celebrated here. AP is a god send...Oline held it together. Hopkins game ball sharing with Josh Norman. Nice win. |

Very close. Offense still needs to get in sync, especially OL pass protect. Defense looks good, 3 to 4 man front and keeps contain on qb's.
Next few games are the get right games. |

This is the Alex Smith effect. Isn't pretty but it's a Win. AD has been our MVP and nobody saw that coming. Defense played well.
Still need a WR (Cooper) And Edge rushers big time Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

AP is the heart of that offense.
Glad to see Norman play with some fire. I’m a bit concerned with defense playcalling. Makes me long for the days of Haz’s repeated house blitzes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game
The d-line was putting no pressure on Cam, especially the second half. I wonder if the primary focus was containing Cam and not allowing him to use his legs. I hope that's the case, because the lack of pressure was pathetic.

Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game
AP was All Day today.
Special Teams won their battle. Both our TEs were good/great. Defense for 90% of the game. And 10% bonus for having a scared coach. So 100% for the D. Forcing turnovers. Season is still alive. We won a game we had to win, so I'll say no negatives. HTTR!

Congrats, guys! I hate it, though.
I said I thought it was a good chance you take this from us, but I didn't think it would be a game of 3 turnovers and playing catch-up the whole day. I do hope you'll at least try to make this up a little by beating the Falcons and Bucs for us. |

Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game
Positives:
Richardson Quick Davis AP Scherff Norman DJ Hopkins Negatives: Dunbar Gruden gambled a little bit too much Norman Lack of pass rush scheme? Smith is average at best and looked scared at times, blew 2 golden opportunities inside the 50 before 1/2 time.

Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game
What is everybody opinion of bill callahan? I have followed him for many years and i have never been excited about him. It goes back to his days as the head coach of Nebraska. I understand he is well respected but we have an all pro, pro bowler, and really good RT, yet we struggle with basics.
If you look back at his time in Dallas, their running game exploded after he left. There could be many reason why, but if i look at the body of work since his day in Oakland, it does not stand out. |
