Thomas is activated and practicing today, hope this will means he will play this Monday. Thomas definitely will help us in red zone.

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
For me this game is a key one for the DL. If they can contain and even sack Wilson, we should win. Their OL is still poor, so we should make hay. If we stop them scoring, we've every chance of winning just by staying mistake free.

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
While they have lost three of their last four games, Seattle's defense has only given up an average of 15 points per game over those four games. They are 4th in the league in rushing yards allowed per attempt, and 10th in rushing yards allowed per game. Their weakness appears to be vs the pass.
Winnable game. They have handled two pretty good defenses over the last couple weeks. Just can't afford to settle for FG attempts - gotta score TDs when they get into the Red Zone, and limit the mistakes (TOs, penalties, etc.) |

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
Gotta clamp down on their big play receivers and don’t get beat by the off script Wilson.
Let Heinicke cook!

Trap game, we don't show up in prime time and Monday will be no different, Russell Wilson and a desperate Seahawks teams will show up and out play us as they always do...Seahawks 27-WFT 21, We can't be trusted under the bright lights just yet!!

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
I was under the impression that it is quite the opposite, under RR they have a 100% record in primetime

We are not good enough to have trap games.

Re: WFT vs Seahawks pre-game thread
I say we ride the momentum and get a W at home in a big game for the playoff race.. Seattle is all but done, Wilson is still hurt and their OL is as bad as it gets.

Both their lines are suspect. Not much pressure from their Dline. Their LB corps is slow and undisciplined. Bobby Wagner is a good player but the 31 yrs old are starting to show. What I like for us is that Heinicke has always been very comfortable throwing in the middle of the field AND he's shown signs of massive improvement in anticipation throws... which matches really well with the holes in their zones, slow LBs not taking enough depth and safeties taking too much will give us opportunities like this one: Also, I'm happy that we've cleaned up our blown coverage issues by week 12, it seems they still have theirs: On offense, Locket is fast and Metcalf will catch some balls, but their Oline is struggling. I think the right side of their line has issues with stunts, I would call quite a lot of those. 2 examples below (I had seen another one earlier in the game but couldn't find it back): We're a slight favorite in this one, and if we can keep Wilson under pressure, I see no reason why we can't win a 3rd in a row ! Let's go !
