Redskins Radio on the net?

Does anyone know if I can listen to Redskins games on the internet? Im happy to pay a fee, last year I had the NFL Sunday Pass and could listen to the games online, but the games were always on the opposing team's radio network. Does Danny Boy have his own system?

If you have a computer with a broadband connection, i.e. DSL, Comcast or one of the many others offering a high speed INTERNET hookup, you can listen for free to any station broadcasting the Redskins game. Last year Redskins games were broadcast by WJFK at 106.7 on your FM dial. Their website can be viewed at http://www.1067wjfk.com/ Enjoy.

Thanks for the website, but I don't see where you can listen to any live broadcasts.

Yep, the was me too! When Direct TV blacked me out of games I would get online and listen with the NFL Sunday Pass. I pay way too much for my team, but I gotta have Skins access come Sunday. By the way, I would like to thank the person who posted the radio info, greatly appreciated.

It's probably only during the season.

It's the off-season... you think their website might change to provide the link when the time is right?

Re: Redskins Radio on the net?

I used to sit in my bedroom in Philly as a kid listening to a choppy radio boradcast of the Redskins games when they were not carried on TV in my area. That was many years ago though. I could not imagine not being able to see every minute of every game on TV in this day and age. Direct TV and the NFL really need to get together and fix this glitch that is keeping paying customers from recieving all the games. It's absurd...

Re: Redskins Radio on the net?

It seems to me that I checked this site out last year and I don't think you could listen to the live broadcast of the game. Danny Boy has some sort of exclusive rights to the Skins Radio Network, and therefore the NFL Season Pass doesn't carry Sam, Sonny and Frank (and yeah I know one of them is gone now, just can't remember which one). I figured the Dan Man would try and make extra bucks by broadcasting the games online somewhere.

Paulskin, most of the broadcast were the opposing team's radio feed of the game, but I did listen to a game that Sonny and Same were broadcasting....I don't remember where I got the link, I think someone on warpath posted it. The only problem it was a couple minutes behind the action happening on the field or even what was happening from the game play by play on ESPN.com or NFL.com.

I just wish the NFL would allow the cable companies to broadcast the NFL Ticket, it would make it easier for us out of town Skin fans. But I think I read the NFL and Direct TV agreed to extend their contract.

Re: Redskins Radio on the net?

Well I asked and they're working on it. Some legal stuff with NFL.com they need to clear first. But one of the reasons they hired Larry Michael full time was to strengthen their Internet presence. The games will be online if not for this season then by 2006

Re: Redskins Radio on the net?

You can only listen to games online via the opponent's broadcast team, you can't listen via 106.7 FM.

I'm not really sure what exactly is behind the decision not to stream the games but since I work for a sister station I can ask.
