A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD

Well, Id rather be one of those teams playing down to their competition than their competition.

Three games left, and we probably need to at least win one of them.

Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD

Gotta like the fact that they managed to get another NFC win, and on the road. A win is a win...ok I'll give you that.

However...

Way too many penalties even though a couple of those roughing calls on DF Jr were BS.

Way too many sacks. Can't help but think that not having our starting center had a lot to do with that, but the O-line was not good at all today, pass or run blocking.

JD missed Terry on a couple sure touchdowns. I put the first one on JD as it was clearly overthrown. The second one was on Terry. It looked like he slowed down, not anticipating the throw coming to him.

Barely took care of business... barely. Hate to see what the result would have been if it were Carr at QB, or even Rattler for the full 60 minutes.

Gotta clean things up if they expect to be competitive next week.

Agree with this, penalties were a problem

JD held the ball way too long on some if not most of the sacks. Throw the ball away

That was rough
3 misses to Terry that might haunt my fantasy football team.
Oline sucks. Daniels mobility does a good job of covering for them but we need an upgrade.
WRs not named Terry are trash. I don’t bring any of them back.
I like Brob but this team needs a game breaker at RB to make us elite.

Adam Peters.. Daniels was a great pick. Sainristril was also a great pick. The rest are bums.
Yes I’m criticizing St. Peter’s, deal with it.

Newton b
sainristil a
coleman b
mccaffrey and sinnot tbd. (not getting enough balls thrown their way to really grade, when passed to both make plays)
-remaining picks. late rounders c's

Very lucky for the NFL that the Redskins did win because if they had lost there would have been a massive stink raised over the Refs stopping the clock for 4 seconds on the play before the Saints last TD.

Could have been a colossal blunder, the refs admitted they botched it and it wasn't reviewable. They stopped it at 9 seconds. Unbelievable.

The whole world would have been livid because it looked like blatant cheating

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Wasn't a fan of that decision with a replacement kicker. We have a pretty good punter. Pin them inside the 20 and make them go 80+ yards. That is what I would have done.

If this team makes the playoffs, it will be a quick exit. We have to many weaknesses to do anything. That early 7-2 start; will be the reason we make playoffs, if we do. The playoff game will be an ugly loss. It will show how far we are. AP will be busy next year.

I'm not sure I can agree 100% with this. Early exit, maybe. However, it's tough to predict that it would be an "ugly" loss. There have only been two games this entire year that they lost by more than one score, and I wouldn't consider either of those losses an ugly loss. This team has doled out some ugly losses to other teams this year, though...

They're competitive and I believe they will remain competitive. They just need to cut out the mistakes and play/coach smarter for the entire 60 minutes.
