2026 Commanders Draft Results
Whew, I'm glad this site is back on in time for the draft day! Keim believes that we will draft M. Delane from LSU, just because Styles will be drafted before us.
I personally have grown to like Styles but it seems like everyone believes Titans will draft him. I'm not oppose to drafting Delane but we already have Sainristil, Amos, and Robertson. CB is a premium position so I would understand why if we decide to draft Delane. |

Re: 2026 Commanders Draft Results
Very intriguing draft tonight in the top 10. Commanders could go in a lot of different directions. I want to trade down especially if we can still keep a solid 1st rounder tonight and maybe a 2nd or high 3rd. Would love the get a new wr and cb starter tonight.

Re: 2026 Commanders Draft Results
I see our most likely as Delane over Downs Tate and Bain.
(If Styles, Love or too 2 edge guys are there, we immediately take them) I would like any of them, but, if it were my choice in this scenario, I'd lean on best ball player film. Which to me has several top prospects, in this likely available bunch it is Downs and Bain. I would love Downs, we have been abused in the middle of the field for years. I'd rather have 80% of the field covered than than 20% sideline guy like Delane. Plus, stopping the run is also key., so I favor between the tackles help if a choice must be made. Only issue with Bain is scheme, which we don't know, and arm length, which is legit. I know Peters seems to lean Athlete over Field performance, but I this case, I favor performance. I'd choose Downs. I want a proven ballplayer, not an athlete that projects to get better

Re: 2026 Commanders Draft Results
Another ideal scenario, is we flip our first for a current NFL WR. Of course they would be better than Tate to go this route, but it sure would seem to solve the problem of wanting/needing a WR, but not wanting to waste #7 on a #2 receiver.
Frankly, this would be a stellar move, especially if we got some change back

Trade down if possible.
Delane, Tyson, or Styles at 7. Love’s not getting out of the top 5. Down’s is too much like Cross, & not a Ballhawk (only 6 INTS in college). We’ll see tonight! #HTTR |

Re: 2026 Commanders Draft Results
I normally have a clear pecking order of guys I want. But the only guy I'd be truly pissed off about passing on was Bailey. But sounds like there is about a 0% chance he will be there at 7.

If Instagram is a source, Jayden wants Tate. Makes sense.

Re: 2026 Commanders Draft Results
I hope we draft Caleb Downs, but if he isn't there, I'll take a good pass rusher (minus Sonny Styles).
If they do decide on a offensive player, I would rather them pick Tate over Love. WR > RB any day of the week.

Re: 2026 Commanders Draft Results
Since Bailey is gone, I'm riding the Delane Train.
