My vacation
Hey Guy's;
I just came back from my annual 4th of July vacation, this year my family and I went to where else? Washington D.C. I won't bore you with the details but I will say that city is damn confusing to get around. I have been there a few times in the past for Redskin games but never really toured the city until this week and I can't tell you how many times I got turned around. Any way for those of you that haven't been there or for those that have but have never been to the ESPN Zone to eat check out the attached pic. This beauty is haning one the wall of the main floor of the restaraunt, it was soo cool. I must have one for my House!! The pic is crappy, but it is a replica of mount rush more but with Riggins, Monk, Gibbs and Thiesmann's faces. -Summo |

Re: My vacation
Actually DC is a very smartly laid out. 4 Quadrants with Numbered Streets in one direction and Streets in Alpha order going from 1st sylable A-Z the 2 sylable A-Z then 3 sylable A-Z on out. It was designed by a man named Lafayette.
Check out this link for a little more history. http://www.cr.nps.gov/nr/travel/wash/lenfant.htm Plus our Metro system is 2nd to none and is very easy to access. Now only if these people who designed these would have had an oppurtunity at doing FEDEX. Now there is a nightmare of a stadium.

Re: My vacation
DC is laid out like crap one way streets to one way streets and sometimes they close some of them down for no reason plus, you know... flaming manholes and such
seriously though, let us know when you're down here. |

Seriously, I've driven in DC a few times, and just about lost my mind. Richmond's nearly as bad, but begins to make sense (somewhat) after living here for 5 years. BTW, Summo, that picture kicks ass! For those who can't see it, try going to User CP--> Edit Options--> Thread Display Options--> Make sure the "Show Images" box is checked.

Re: My vacation
Great pic Summo. And I like your new avatar too!!!
With family and friends took vacations to NY and DC.......we were totally confused by NY and loved the DC metro system. The DC museums were awesome. Summo, did you get to see Redskin Park?.............
