Flag Football Update

On behalf of the front office, I'd like to give you all an update on what's going on with our plans to have a Warpath flag football game.

We've been working pretty hard behind the scenes to get this going. Crisp is working on a registration system in which people will pay to be a part of the team-Crisp can provide further details. Brud is working on landing us some sponsors for a possible postgame banquet. And CrazyCanuck has done some creative cap manuevers to allow us to keep RedskinRat and sign Redskins_P to a long term extension.

Also, we will be raising money for the Good Samaritan Foundation. A local organization that provides opportunities for inner-city youth in the DC area. I spoke to them and they are very interested in what we're doing. Also, I've gotten Charles Mann and Art Monk to tentatively agree to be honorary coaches-but keep that between the 1,000+ of us-in exchange for helping to raise money for their charity, the Good Samaritan Foundation.

Anyway, with all this going on we're looking at pushing the date to either Sept. 24 or 25-during the Skins bye week. And we need you guys to help us out now, any contacts you have in terms of getting sponsors, finding a place to play, host the postgame dinner etc.

I think we can make this really big. Crisp anything you'd like to add here?

That's bad ass TAFKAS. I was just wondering today about if that was really going to happen... You don't think we could play at FedEx?

TAFKAS, just to update you. I fired my old agent and hired Drew Rosenhaus. I'm trying to get paid.......I got kids to feed.

we could use some info on the rules, required equipment (+where to find it and costs), reg fees etc too if you have any of that...

Would love to play but have a family function in PA that weekend. My cousin books this function and then finds out about the bye week. How lucky is that.

TAFKAS would please confirm that a Redskin_P for SportsCurmudgeon trade is NOT in the offing.

Although disgruntled by this latest selfish move by Redskin_P, his presence really is the glue that holds the Warpath team together. I mean, just look how far we got last year when he wasn't playing!!! How many games did we win? Nado, zip, zero.

Yes - He's a big mouth and selfish but lets work this out. Try to get past his comment that you are just a "company man".

The way I see it we went undefeated last year when he wasn't playing! LOL. Really it's out of my hands. It's up to Judge Ramseyfan now to determine if Redskins_P is indeed guilty of brandishing a SuperSoaker after Daseal and CPayne allegedly stole his Big Wheels tricycle.

We've excused Redskins_P from all practices while he gets this matter resolved

Well, with any luck the the trial will be postponed after the bye week. Besides, if the only evidence against him is the word of Daseal and CPayne, the case isn't built on the strongest of evidence... I mean really, Daseal's credibility? I have one word for you - Spurrier. And all we have to do to undermine CPayne is give him the old Chad Morton Avatar and wait for him to go ballistic (or was that CRT??).
