Allen to be cut
I hate thinking about the cowboys as much as the rest of you but I think this is important since its an in-division team.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...ball&type=lgns Isn't he the one who had a cast on his hand for a while and was using it as a club? I think it's pretty odd, yet kewl, that the Cowboys would be willing to let there weak o-line get weaker with this cut. Sure he's obviously on the decline, but it's like they have someone as good or better to fill the spot. I can't wait to see Gibbs first game against the cowpies and and his former arch-rival Parcels. I read on a post report the 2 teams might be playing a monday night game sometime in either october or november. |

If he were a Redskin I'd be yelling to kick him out the door too. Not only does he seem to never want to play, he also is refusing to show up to training camp. He's had a great career, but it's nearly over. It's a shame for us though!

Larry Allen is one of the greatest O-linemen of all time.

Allen was a horrible player last year getting a huge salary. He has taken a load of abuse over the years, and is not an NFL caliber player anymore. Be thankful this didn't happen last year (before he was exposed), we would have signed him.

His knee might be shot...I don't know. But he showed some real toughness to finish out the year. |

The Pro-Bowl is a popularity contest, it's not where the best players go. Not to mention, very few people even know who the people are on the expanded ballot. They probably see Larry Allen DAL and figure he's a Cowboy so they want to vote for him!
Larry Allen is old and Parcells forced him to play. Give the career up, buddy. |

The Pro-Bowl players are chosen by the sports writers of America, who know a great deal about the players, their history, and their stats (I don't think popularity has much to do with it). All of the fan votes combine to equal one measly vote. For instance, if LaVar receives the most fan votes for Pro-Bowl OLB, that equals one vote for LaVar for the Pro-Bowl. All of the other votes come from the sports writers.

Yes. Let's pray it is not us! He's the O-Line equivalent of Bruce Smith. Hall of famers both but well past any legitimate roster use and locker room me-firsters.

He might be old but did any of you watch him play last year. He still demands two people and pushes them back. If people think his career is almost over id like to see the skins give him a one or two year deal with little money for him to prove himself and go out as a hall of famer and in the meantime we get a huge force to block in front of CP
