Ex-Skins this Preseason
With the departure of Smoot, Pierce, and Baily the year before, how do we feel about the corner situation now that preseason is finally over. And has Marshall been an adequate replacement for Pierce?
By the way, how have those guys played with their respective new teams this pre-season? Other than Pierce, I haven't heard much. |

I think that C.Griff and Salave'a will be even better this year in the middle and that will help Marshall a lot. Not to mention ole #56 back on the field. I feel good about the CB situation as well. I think Carlos will be starting possibly after the bye week. |

I saw where Sultan McCullough had nearly 100 yds. rushing, Sage had a great game for Miami, Iffy was picked up by Cincy, DMac by Phily. I don't much care about the gynts, and haven't checked on the State of the Union in Minn.

our cb situation is fine. i feel good about our defense as a whole. Marshall is an adequate replacement for Pierce.

I saw that where Sultan had a good game. I think anybody could play for Miami right now - Sage may get shot later.

Here's a scenerio where that could happen: 1. Ramsey plays adequate but by no means has the team where they should be. Let's say 3-3. 2. Miami flip-flops between QBs at least twice before we get to the half- way mark in the season and Nick Saben grows impatient with his current stall of inept QBs. *Remember last year there was talk about PR going to Miami after Brunell came to town? |

I thought Smoot is injured, so there keeping him out to get him ready to go for the season.

Re: Ex-Skins this Preseason
The vi-queens play tonight! Smoot might make a minor appearance, just like our starters did.

Re: Ex-Skins this Preseason
The D will be better than last year. They have looked great starters on starters. The return of Lavar has softened the blow of losing A.Pierce. Gone and.......................forgotten

CB Champ Baily - Traded off to broncos for Portis
Who did we pick up? CB Shawn Springs, personally, i think Shawn springs is a better CB after seeing him play for the skins, people are now said Baily WHO? Besides, shawn is a better tackler, has more speeds, and can intercept passes like no other CB. CB Fred Smoot - Free Agent Pick up by vikings Who did we pick up? Drafted CB Carlos Rogers <---- Speed Demon, and we already had a GOOD CB in Walt Harris. LB Antonio Peirce - Free Agent Pick up by New York Giants. Who did we pick up? Well we have lavar arrington coming back, lamar marshall has done a fantastic job in the preseason, i think he will fit right in, we have a great LB crew, Lavar, Marcus, Lamar....Thats pretty close to wut we used to have, if not, better crew then we used to have... Lavar, Armstead, Trotter |
