Cincy and Denver Swap picks
http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/news_story.asp?id=79577
CINCINNATI - The Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals swapped first-round draft picks in a trade Friday that also sent cornerback Deltha O'Neal to Cincinnati and gave the Bengals an additional fourth-round pick from Denver. The deal will allow Denver to move up to the No. 17 overall selection in the first round, while the Bengals received the Broncos' No. 24 overall slot in the first round. |

They must not want Dillon at all. He could have easily been included in this trade. They might not want anyone specific, but they had to move O'Neal and his contract.

I think they r going to select Stephen Jackson or Kevin Jones to fill to spot vacated by Portis or maybe even a reciever as Rod Smith is getting kinda old and mccaffrey retired didn't he?

I dont see the Broncos drafting a running back in the first round, it goes against their principals and they have a proven track record of taking players later and making then get 1000 yards

I would take a wideout if I were the Broncos. There's going to be plenty of excellent wideouts left when the #17 pick comes around, and they need a talented young wideout to pair with Ashley Lelie when Rod Smith retires, which isn't too far off. It's hard to tell if Lelie is cut out for the #1 wideout spot, so they need somebody who can legitmately fit the bill. Reggie Williams (Washington) or Lee Evans (Wisconsin) could be available, as well as Michael Clayton (LSU) and Michael Jenkins (Ohio State).

The only reason they had to trade O'Neil was because he wore #24. Consider this a warning Iffy!

hearst is no longer a starting quality rb and they could give the spot to griffin but its not like them taking an upgrade at rb is out of the question. I do beleive that they r gonna be leaning more towards a wr and someone had a good point of them maybe drafting a db to pair up with bailey. Honestly I could care less cuz I hate the broncos as I am a bit of a chargers fan.

Hearst didnt do that bad in the last few years, but I think his role is as a backup and a tutor to their young backs
