Can we beat the Philadelphia Eagles two months from now?

I know that its a while from now. And it may be too early too tell.

But do we have a chance to beat the Eagles week 9?

I know they are very explosive. I want to see your guys opinions:

This thread was spurred by a Condescending (he talks to me that way) Eagles fan who i have to sit 10 feet away from at work.

Like your sig says, it's "Time to Beat Seattle"

Really to early to tell on Philly. Short answer-no, with a "but". Long answer-yes, with an "if"

Who can say? But until someone in the East puts an "L" on them then they can laugh at the rest of the division.

One step at a time, yo. Long way to go before that. BUt I agree that if we play our game, we can beat anyone. Likewise, if we turn it over and committ penalties, well, you know how it goes. BUt I feel like with our D, we can hang with people. And if we get offense like we had in the last 5 against Dallas--the sky's the limit. But let's get Seattle first, then Den and KC, etc.

One game at a time. But we can beat any team any day. The question isn't whether we can but whether we will. I think any team can beat any other team in the NFL.

With our defense, we can defintley compete and beat anyone. But who knows how our offense will come along. If we played the Eagles this weekend, we would have lost.

We could possibly beat them in a game, but not in the overall standings. The skins had chances to win both games last year against the birds. Over the course of the season though the eagles are a much better team.

the skins have been really good at keeping the eagles close in games... the problem's always been with the winning part :/ hopefully that gets turned around though. TO hasn't been that productive against us (24 and 46 yards), but westbrook has had 100-120 total yards each game.

I'll say this. When we play them, it'll be another Bears situation. Their defense has looked awfully good. I don't think either team will be able to drive the ball that well. It'll come down to field position and turnovers.

Also, is it just me or does TO just not break a whole lot of tackles? He DOES get open very well, but as soon as he someone touches him, he goes down.

The thing about T.O. is that he is so good that all the teams put their best CBs on him and they tend to be good tacklers. I must say though that I’ve seen many highlights of T.O. stiff arming loads of DBs.

it's true. dude is downfield threat with the build of a possession receiver. the f**ker. he needs to meet our safety with the build of a linebacker like Clayton did.
