Wow Those Linebackers played so well Today

OH Yes those very talented linebackers looked so good today...they were all just where they were supposed to be ....as mr williams says ...it takes alot of discipline.... they were there and they were there as denver ran right by their asses.....the LB's lost this game today... they played horrible.... mean while LaVar sat there. And We had so much pressure on Jake...what a genius Mr Williams is.....

I dont knwo about anyone else, but I thought Marcus Washington, as usual, had a outstanding game. I didnt think Lamar had a bad game really. Holdman was unspectacular, but I never really point him out for doing anything wrong; it was hard to tell who blew assignments on those TD runs, so who knows.

But I agree, I think Lavar needs some PT. Its rediculous that a guy of his calibur is on the sidelines when we are getting run over.

I'm in Texas so got stuck "watching" the game on NFL.com live stats and from the good folks in the warpath.net chat room (talk about multi-tasking)..........anyway most every play on defense had M. Washington making the tackle on defense.....it was like the guy was playing the Broncos all alone........he deserves to return to the Pro-Bowl.

Easy there cowboy... It was a tough loss, but let's not go throwing blame around. I'm one of the ones that would've liked to see LA out there and want to see him playing, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that we would've won the game otherwise. I don't think we did horribly on D, but our D-line is far more suspect than the LBs. Plus our Secondary is all banged up and starting Jimoh and a Rookie.

Dont go jumping off the bandwagon just yet/

I think our whole d is in shambles. our d line couldn't pressure jake today, our linebackers played ok, except for holdman, who i feel should be on the bench instead of lavar, and our secondary is really banged up. If we're putting in ade jimoh, you know something's wrong. I thought it was a miracle play when he actually defended the deep ball for once, instead of letting it go right by him. We really need to sign someone, because this secondary, combined with our lack of pressure, could hurt us in the long run.

part of the problem is that the cornerbacks are critical in Williams's defense, because they are forced to cover the wide receiver one-on-one as extra players are sent to pressure the quarterback. Our defense suffered because of injuries to Springs and Harris..........

Well you gotta give Jimoh alot of credit for that one play. That was perfect anticipation and coverage.

jimoh did also give up a TD. Marshall didn't look like normal and again i failed to even hear Holdman's name(unlike his back-up,i hear his name a lot)

Seriously wtf. Of course were gonna have some bad calls here and there, but Denver just ran the right play against that one Tatum Bell TD run; and on the other one, Williams had the right playcall and Daniels just missed the tackle.

I think Arrington should be playing, I want him playing, but I dont see him at practice everyday, so I dont know.

As a whole though, I'm very concerned about our defense if both Harris and Springs are out next week. Even if we have one, I think its a huge, huge upgrade to uh oh Jimoh.

Let's not forget how nasty the field was, it makes tackling a little hard.

Re: Wow Those Linebackers played so well Today

i know this is a loss but our TEAM played AMAZING! Our defense did very well and the broncos threw for less than 100 yards!! less than 100!! wait we threw for over 300 yards and picked up nearly 450 total yards on the NUMBER SIX defense in the league. i don't understand why there isn't any positive threads. If you told me during the offseason that we would have this type of offensive production against a top 10 D that was ranked right behind ours i would be thrilled. Also if i was told that we were gonna go 3-1 and lead our division at this time i would also be thrilled.

NO doubt no f'n doubt in my mind that we can take KC. This game was huge for us, we can play offense. That is right bitches we can play offense. The REDSKINS can play offense with the best of them and still AND STILL have a top ten defense that can hold teams under 300 yards. We go to KC and kick ass, we come home and kick ass and then we face a big game against the gints and we beat them there too. I see us winning atleast two of the next four and moving to a respectable 5-3 and if we win 3 we are 6-2 and tops in our division STILL as long as one of those games is the GINTS.

WE are reborn, we aren't your joe gibbs first year redskins, we are the new redskins, the 2005 playoff redskins
