Who's this ass clown?
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...ant/index.html
Apparently we struggle from some strange combination of horrible quarterback, inept head coach and a "dink & dunk" offense... W's are useless to this jackass. |

Re: Who's this ass clown?
well he didn't just single out the redskins, he pointed out a bunch of other teams. and since when has our offense been known as west coast? this is nothing more than some guy's opinion. lucky for him he gets paid to say it.

Where are the bombs? I guess he fell asleep before the end of the Redskins-Cowboys Monday nighter!

Re: Who's this ass clown?
I don't agree with the "clueless head coach" part of it, but despite being excited about the 3-1 start, I do think our offense is a big time snore fest.
Think of it this way - if I was a neutral NFL observer who dropped out of the sky (albeit with a Sunday NFL ticket Direct TV account) at the beginning of this season, watching the skins play wouldn't really be an exciting proposition. Why is Marty-ball so maligned? His offense is actually scoring 40 points every once in a while, while ours is struggling to cross 20. Gibbs ball is way more boring. As long as we're winning, I can live with it though. Last edited by hurrykaine; 10-13-2005 at 10:51 PM. |

Re: Who's this ass clown?
I don't know what snorefest you are talking about because I am continually on my seat as we are converting 3rd and 8, 3rd and 10, etc.... If you do fall a sleep you will miss some of the solid drives and big plays that the skins are putting together. We would be around, or over twenty in every game without some bizarre crap, penalties, blocked FG's. We have gotten in the endzone or had points taken away in every game several TD's. I don't know what happens to the team in the red zone with these crazy flops some have been some really bad peanlties/calls. Definitely not a snore fest, I would say shitty red zone

That's said, this could all change over the course of the season, and we could join the list of exciting offenses like the colts, giants, eagles, chiefs, chargers, seahawks, rams (until lately), and some of these teams could drop out from the list. |

Re: Who's this ass clown?
Scoring points is a valid issue, but moving the ball is not.
Hey jagoff the offense is ranked #8 in the league in total yards thank you. |

Re: Who's this ass clown?
It's funny, really... whenever I read one of the CNNSI analysts' work, I feel like I'm reading something that my next door neighbor wrote. Don't get me wrong, my neighbor is a smart guy and I like talking football with him. But he's no different than me - he's not an expert. He just has an opinion. CNNSI has absolutely no football credibility with me, anyway.

Re: Who's this ass clown?
the only reason this guy has a column is because he knows html and is able to put it onto the web.
it's a shame that he's called Brunell crappy (not the best out there, but not crappy ala David Carr), Gibbs an air head (3 SB Victories, where are his?) and our offense West Coast (since when does Gibbs run West Coast?). locker room motivation...put it on the board, yes!
