Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
There may be some thread or parts of different threads that have given predictions. I wanted to give my early picks and see how I fare at the end of the season. Of course, we'll never have this many people go to the Pro-Bowl unless we make it to the playoffs.

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
Dude, I love the Grifff Pick, however.......Marcus Washington is a shoe-in, IMO. And Taylor is just one of those players that constantly makes the highlight reel. So that would mean three people would come from our defense.....I don't know about that one.
But he's worthy that's for damn sure. |

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
Brunell...lol. I know the NFC isnt as good as the AFC but Brunell isnt going to the probowl.
Cooley wont get the recognition. Washington has a good chance of making it again. Portis may if he starts to have some big games. Moss has a good chance. And Taylor will have to make some turnovers to get soem more recognition to beat out Williams and Dawkins. Some of our oline may make it. Springs deserves to, but probably wont. AND to prove to pro bowl is a celebrity contest, Lavar Arrington will make the pro bowl, get his bonuses, and laugh all the way to the bank.

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
I think it's possible RT could make it this year.
We should put no fewer than 4 guys in the Pro-Bowl this year. |

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
so far this year the only people that have played amazing have been marcus and santana, last year there was better individual preformances by our defense, that would be like takeaways and sacks which we aren't getting at all. those players last year like springs, griffin, smoot, taylor, and pierce had great years and deserved some recognition but this year they all are just individuals in the system that doesn't highlight a single player, they are there, they do their job but no one is having an individual preformance that will land anyone in the pro bowl

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
Pro Bowlers (with all politics considered):
Probable: Marcus Washington, Santana Moss, Sean Taylor Questionable: Clinton Portis, Shawn Springs, Randy Thomas or Jon Jansen (an O-line man). Cornelius Griffin. Doubtful: Mark Brunell , Chris Cooley

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
Hey, don't count ol' Brunell out yet, <wink wink>.....
Santana Moss could make the pro bowl, but I think he's going to need at least a TD catch in every game to get recognized.

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
moss could go, so could brunell if he keeps it up!
sean...even tho people arent throwing to him he still could go. samuels is playing awesome..and i think with all the media attention jansen has gotten he could go. i dont think portis will go, not unless he has a few magnificent games. even tho he has to battle to and plax in ny, i think moss has a legitimate shot at making the pro bowl..his yards are crucial so far. and cooley? what other tight end is as badass or hardcore in the nfc as him?? he should go just because of his kickass name. |

Re: Premature Pro Bowl Predictions
I can't see Portis making it at this point. Shaun Alexander is running great, so is Tiki Barber, and Cadillac Williams has great numbers even though he's missed a game. Stephen Davis has 7 TDs but his yardage is iffy.
I think Portis has some work to do to beat those guys out. He especially needs TDs. Brunell's passer rating is solid at 85.7, but the following guys rank better in the NFC: Bledsoe 102.0 Eli 97.8 Hasselbeck 97.1 McNabb 95.9 Bulger 89.8 Favre 87.6 Delhomme 86.0 I think Samuels has a good chance though. |
