SI's Top 10 NFL Rivalries

Just in time to get us fired up for Dallas week. It's good to see that the national press still recognizes this as the best All-Time NFL rivalry. Not that there should be any question but sometimes the trendy pick beats out the classic on these kind of lists.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mul...ontent.10.html

Anybody else agree/disagree with the rest of their rankings. Here they are below too:

1. Skins/Boys
2. Bears/Pack
3. Chiefs/Raiders
4. Giants/Eagles
5. Steelers/Browns
6. Broncos/Raiders
7. Pack/Vikes
8. 49ers/Rams ???
9. Bengals/Browns
10. Jets/Dolphins

I think #8 (49ers/Rams) is from the LA days. It was a California thing, I guess.

Can't argue with #1!!!!

Bills/Dolphins is much better than Jets/Dolphins, well used to be. But for the most part thats right.

I agree with this. I've been to a couple of skins games when they played here in Buffalo. If you want to get through the game without too much trash talking, take a Dolphins fan with you.

steelers and browns should be higher, not 1, but higher.

Is that why they changed the time to 4:00.

I disagree. Jets-Dolphins is huge. Bills-Dolphins might be bigger in Buffalo, but Jets-Dolphins is definitely bigger in Miami.

Re: SI's Top 10 NFL Rivalries

Of all the rivalries on the list, Bears-Packers has to be the least interesting.

If you think about it, when the Bears were good, back in the 80's, the Pack was terrible. When the Pack was good, mid 90's, the Bears were terrible. You have to go waaaay back in the day when both of those teams were in contention and their games actually meant something.

Once Brett Favre leaves, expect the Green Bay Packers to go back to the cellar of the NFL. Hell, they're already there. As far as the Bears go, if their cap situation allows that defense to stay together, and if they ever get the offense in gear, Chicago could be at the top of that division for quite awhile. That's a lot of 'ifs' though.

The gap between the Skins/Cowboys rivalry and all the rest is HUGE. We have the best rivalry in pro sports.

Trust me that I would love to agree with you, since I hate both teams I am about to mention, but the Red Sox/Stankees rivalry is pretty huge. I honestly don't know how far back it goes, but, right now, it's pretty big.

My friend lives in Berlin, Germany. Any way I can check listings or sports bars there for the game?
