Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here
ah sh*t.
Well, I said I'd be here all week before and after the game, and even though I am still waiting for Dallas to show up and get the game started - must have been a delay at the airport - I hear that the Irving High School JayVee team showed up and got beat. Well, I can't find all of you all over this board, so I thought I would start a thread that would let you guys find me. So Big Skin Bauer, you got Dallas and whooped us. Bozzy, your grandpa didn't let you down. I actually thought of you and your grandpa during the game. illdefined, I wish we had put up a better fight. Ramseyfan, maybe Ramsey would've only beat us by 14. Mattyk72, congratulations, you stuck with your team and they rewarded you. Tafkas, let the playoff ticket sales begin. dblanch66, thanks for the kind words, but we stunk it up. Let er rip. Scheed10, you must be feeling pretty good today. onlydarksets, your team has got as much or more momentum as any in the league. BrudLee, I know there will be a WPP this week. Gotta put the Skins in the top 6-7 after that win. Put Dallas 18th or something. With the rest of the 8-8 teams. Anyone I may have forgotten, congratulations, and let the Crow eating festival begin. (Next year i hope to be in DC for the game. The atmosphere was electric! and if the Cowboys are going to get whipped by the Skins at least if I go to the game, I'll be really, really drunk. And if they win, maybe the sweep this year won't seem so cruel.)

You're a classy man, 5RINGS.
Honestly, heading into yesterday I was very nervous and in the back of my mind I thought the Skins would lose. That was one of those games where everything goes right for one team and everything goes wrong for the other. It's been a long time since we pulled the brooms out on your asses, and I must say I'M LOVING EVERY SECOND OF IT! |

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here
good good man 5Rings. like i told D'Boyz, way to show up after the game and shake our hand (and too bad Parcells couldn't have done the same).
for whats it worth, you were 100% absolutely right to be worried about Daniels! how on earth did you know that?? he's been quiet the entire season. you were indeed right to worry about your offensive tackles, they made Daniels and Wynn look like Umenyora and Strahan. you know your team, and i respect you knowing ours enough to be worried by the exact right key matchup.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here
I like good sportsmanship between fans. Kudos to you for metaphorically coming to the center of the field and shaking our hands. It's a good thing most Cowboy fans are ignaramuses, because if they were all like you I don't think I'd be able to hate them nearly as much.
I love to hate the Cowboys. Without them, being a fan of the Skins wouldn't be nearly as much fun. PS While you're eating crow, you mind if I join you? I wouldn't mind chomping on my blackened TUNA! |

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here
Our Tackles are bad.
I just seemed to remember Daniels always around the pocket last game, always around the point of attack. Couple that with the fact that our not very good tackles have trouble with ends that have good feet rather than the so called 'power' ends, it was an easy call. Daniels is a savvy vet. He went up against Flozell the first game. He got the measure of the oline in week three. we came back weaker and he ate us up.

5Rings....much respect to you for coming back as you said you would. It was quite amusing to watch the Cowboys just fall apart yesterday. Especially the look Parcells gave Newman after he missed the tackle on Cooley's THIRD TD. And that whiny little bitch Keyshawn after Condiff missed the FG...I was in tears.

5Rings, you're a class act and a good reason why the rivalry is fun. We still have a few years of sweeps to go to even up the past 14-17 that we've suffered, but this set us on the way.
Thanks for posting. |

You make it hard to hate the Cowboys - I'll just have to try all the harder.

I attended the Skins/Raiders game a couple of weeks ago. They threw out a Cowboy fan after a fight. May I suggest that you wear a mild version of silver and whatever other color the cowboys wear. And try to hold your temper, because Redskin fans will be all over you. It can get ugly in the stands. Maybe have someone duct-tape your hands to your sides so you appear completely defenseless, and other fans will feel sorry for you. The silver duct tape is silver, right? I wore a dark outfit that day (trimmed in burgandy along the seams), along with my new Redskins hat, and someone in back of me challenged me as a Raider fan, until I turned around.
