Guess they don't want to sign Orakpo long term.

Exactly, when the decent tackle prospects are all gone in the 3rd we'll reach AGAIN for another player who makes no sense and more than likely will have little to no impact

Thanks guys

Shanny is somewhere smiling his little oompa loompa face off

Not a sexy pick but I think its a good one.
I like this write up.
Looks like he can cover tight ends well enough.

Doesn't mean Orakpo is gone. You can never have enough pass rushers. But it does give them added flexibility.

Not gonna call this pick dumb because we don't know how he will be yet, but if he is as strgon as they say he is he could put on 20-25 lbs and be a DE, but again I dont know about this pick, I just dont know

Re: 2014 NFL Draft: Rounds 2-3

Trent Murphy's a great player and will help our pass rush tremendously. Our FO said they were going to put an emphasis on players who love football and are dedicated; this dude is all football, what I like to call "just a pure football player", while Moses has had some question marks about how dedicated he'll be at this level. Love it or hate it, this dude will help our defense.
