Re: Around the NFL: Week 4
Was Teddy Bridgewater a baller tonight or what? Hope his ankle isn't hurt too badly.

It was one game against a team with a horrible defense. Let's put the brake on the Teddy B. fanfare. Besides, Bortles was the best QB in the draft to begin with. When Bruce Arians says that Bortles was the only franchise QB in the draft, I'll be inclined to take his word on it.

All those South teams are major issues. Cam is injuried, bad oline and a defense who desperately misses Hardy. Atlanta is the biggest farce of a solid football team, with a bottom 5 defense in the league and a team that struggles to run the ball. And Tampa is a year away, but Lovie is overrated coach who for some unknown reason shitted on mike glennon the entire offseason, only to plug him in because of injury and he lead them to an unlikely win against pittsburg. Saints much better than the skins

Re: Around the NFL: Week 4
flacco looked good. whole ravens team looked good. torrey smith seems to have no place in kubiaks offense and with pitta gone for the season, steve smith must stay healthy for that offense to continue to move the chains imo.
cam newton looks like he has really progressed in game management and knowing down, distance and clock. really impressed me with some throws he made as well. |

Bortles made some great plays too... with possibly the worst offensive line in the league and a bunch of young receivers. |

Re: Around the NFL: Week 4
Packers-Bears game Sunday was only the second time in NFL history where neither teams punter never attempted a punt.
Side note: Dick Butkus was honorary captain for the coin toss. He watched the first quarter and saw 15 penalties called on the defense for illegal contact, blows the head of the QB, and unnecessary roughness. He then promptly left the stadium and vomited all the way home.

Kyle Orton takes over for EJ Manuel as Buffalo Bills' QB - ESPN
This is why bad teams remain bad. So much stupid from that coaching staff/FO it isn't even funny.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 4
Manuel looks god awful. He can't make basic throws that a college QB makes. He's simply not an NFL QB. Not sure Orton (lol) will do any better but at least he can hit guys when they're open.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 4
In 16 years...Andy Reid STILL hasn't learned to fucking manage a clock.
