Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
Is it my imagination or do the pregame shows get worse every year? I swear they don't talk about anything of substance.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
I hate to say it but I think that the NFL product is getting worse each year. Maybe it's because the Redskins just can't get their act together but almost all the highlight shows I have become unwatchable to me.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
It's just so much. There's plenty of good content but the amount of content time needed to be filled now is just impossible for networks to keep up with. But the money keeps rolling in

Not sure that's a fair assessment of KT

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
I don't get a front office that seem to base their moves with a cold pettiness that is finally catching up with them. If they were honest, the WR that should been cut is amendola, but they are not gonna admit when they are wrong. The fo, coaches and team looks dysfunctional...why is the media giving these guys break? I think Kraft bears responsibility as well, but the media would never criticize him. Fact is they haven't won a Super Bowl since they stop cheating. Fact

Tension between Tom Brady, New England Patriots could impact quarterback's future with team - ESPN Boston
That would be something, if both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, the two best quarterbacks of the 2000's ended their career with other teams. |

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
Every show is just 4-6 people talking at each other, not saying much. Then they cut away for human interest/puff piece. I am surprised there are not more "X's & O's" type shows/segment, NFL Playbook or the stuff from Ron Jaworski. I find that type of show interesting and has a little more depth to it.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
Just looked on espn and saw that St. L has made it a game with Philly. Philly might be the best team in our division but they are not going far with that defense.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
<sigh> Already last in the division, and every team ahead of us wins, with us likely to get a curb stomping tomorrow night...
The NFC East is no longer the worst division, IMO. Dallas and Philadelphia both have plenty of flaws, but they're winning anyway. NY is looking solid too. And then there's... you know, us… but we're not as bad as last year either. |

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
The gap between us and the Eagles/Cowboys getting that much wider. Well, at least we get to keep our first rounder this year. Too bad it's going to be a shit draft.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 5
I love the NFL Network Sun am show. Those guys don't take themselves so seriously and just have fun with it. Today Irvin just killed Wilbur Marshall. They were talking about players that they were afraid of. Although if a white guy said what Irvin did he would have been fired on the spot. Needless to say I was lol for about 10 minutes.
