Also why didn't he watch film on his own time? It shouldn't be a requirement. If you're a pro and take your job seriously then you should already watch film. Obviously he didn't.
We have a team of non pros.
No one is sending Rambo to the pro bowl but with two games left he has more ints in one quarter of football than any player on the Redskins has all year.

Please no Phillips or Ryan.

We need to find a guy familiar with the modern game.
Go with a young guy like Bowles.

But it's bruce Allen, so he will hire a good ole boy.

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015

We've tried making big free agent splashes, we've tried new coaching staff after new coaching staff, we've tried several different front office structures and staff. I just wish we had one stable patient vision to believe in.

I'd like to see someone come in clean house, bring in legitimate position coaches, trade any player of value, and slowly and methodically build a team through the draft over several years of steady improvement until we are a contender.

I won't hold my breath

I would like to get Greg Williams as the DC or Rex Ryan as our HC . I not sure about Gruden at this point . He appears he isn't prepared to be a HC. We got it wrong with him. His offense doesn't fit RG3 and that's why he came here. Give me a Defensive minded head coach and bring in a OC like the Patriots OC Josh McDaniels to run the offense. He made Tebow better in Denver so maybe he can put a offense that RG3 can improve in. My ideal Situation is to hire Jim Harbaugh . I say we clean house and start from scratch .

No thank you. Coaching and playing the game are two completely different things.

Didn't Josh get fired before Tebow actually started? Who is like Josh in the NFL? Because there is no way McDaniels leaves NE for the exact same position in Washington.

Harbaugh is a good coach. Just not sure what he would be able to do with this team. That San Fran team had good players when he arrived. Plus the one thing about Harbaugh is he is not getting criticized enough for how bad Kaep has looked this year. He is supposed to be a QB genius.

What about Trestman as an OC?

I mos definitely believe with our talent now on defensive we could get much more out of them under a different scheme and coaching.

Richie Pettibon coached and played the game.
Gregg Williams coached and played the game.
Ron Rivera coached and played the game.
Todd Bowles coached and played the game.

Quite a few successful coordinators in the league (or were in the league before retiring) have played the game at one time or another before getting into coaching. So I wouldn't shun the idea of London Fletcher being some type of coach for our team. That being said, I wouldn't just throw him in at defensive coordinator, but I don't see why it would be a terrible idea to look at him in terms of being a linebacker coach.

More so then being a ex-player I would not want him as a first time coach. We need someone experienced on all levels of coaching to right this ship.

Re: New Defensive Coordinator 2015

Wade Phillips is who I want but I doubt we get him. Probably will be someone that nobody has ever heard of
