Redskins Draft Prospects 2015
Ereck Flowers coming in for an official visit this coming week. Miami OT who happens to be the largest of the top tackle prospects in the draft. Good size and long arms, mayock has him as his #2 tackle on the board.
We should see the visits pick up as the draft approaches. We know marriota had his canceled.

Re: Redskins Draft Prospects 2015
they would probably trade down if they drafted him, #5 to early - 2nd round probably gone

Quarterback set to visit Redskins
Conner Halliday qb from Washington st coming in for a visit. I had heard McC either went to his pro day or had a private work out with this guy. So appears there is more interest with him over marriota.

They all are. It's what the NCAA is developing in to.
Connor could of been a top prospect before breaking his leg. I would love to see us take a shot on this kid. What a lot of people don't know about Connor is he called 90% of the plays from the line of scrimmage in their offense.

Re: Redskins Draft Prospects 2015
Halliday's intriguing because he doesn't seem to lose accuracy when he's throwing off back foot or from an otherwise imperfect base. Worth a look for sure.

I would really like to get one of these three players in the draft: Flowers, Scherff, or La'el Collins. I think any of those three could lock down the RT position for us. Of course, that would probably mean that we traded down and added another pick or two, which might be a good thing for a team in our circumstances.

Re: Redskins Draft Prospects 2015
^^ Agreed. If you want the franchise QB, you pay. To me, any deal in which the 5th pick goes requires two firsts this year or, if you don't have it, 1st & 2nd this year and your 1st next year (plus more TBD - the two 1's or two 1's and a 2 is just the baseline). I really don't care what the trade chart says.
At 5, we have a shot at Cooper & Williams - to me, the two safest picks in the whole draft. Alternatively, we have a shot at a potential franchise QB in Mariotta (me, I am not sold on MM but plenty of folks are and QB's demand premium prices). Anyone wanting a shot at one of those three needs to pay. In this draft, the talent drop after six is significant and any trade back increases the chances of a miss on the pick so multiple picks are needed to make up for the lower chance of success on each of the picks.
