Mmmh true... would s*ck to see him go... Honestly as of now I'd rather have him than Norman. Even if I'm excited to have Josh on the team, Bashaud's evolution is exponential!

Heading out there Monday. Looking forward to it!
I thought our Secondary was the standout group yesterday. We got a lot of depth. WR and TE groups a close second.

The right side of the Oline on run plays were damn good too...they were getting out there on stretches and opening holes on the inside.

Im worried about our D-Line...its concerning at this point.

For folks out of town coming into Richmond several solid choices within walking distance of camp

Buzz and Neds BBQ - great effing ribs, solid Q. Cool spot, a Richmond staple

En Su Boca - Tex-Mex specialized in great effing Tacos....also their mixed drinks are awesome

Boulevard Burger & Brew - first off, great spot and cool little building...They will have awesome beer on tap too. Burgers are solid...Boulevard Burger & Brew

you can park and easily walk to these spots.

Breweries in the area(all within like 3 miles)....Hardywood, Ardent & the Veil. I haven't been to the Veil, but heard maybe the best brewery in terms of "beers"...Hardywood is a good time, good spot and cool atmosphere. Ardent is probably the most underrated in the Richmond area... great beer, super solid. Place is no frills, quaint beer drinking spot super close to camp

Ardent Craft Ales

Bummer for Daniels:

Redskins Home

At least Spaight is having a great camp, Daniels will be back next year and compete.

tough break for Daniels. but, he's young & strong and can recover.

the bright side of this is he will get time to hang around & pick things up this year and he will be like an extra draft pick next year.

If we are going to lose a rookie ILB isn't a bad place

Gruden says Trent Murphy back to olb because lack of depth. Ugh...I hope mcc is scanning the league looking for olb/dl help. Concerned.

I heard him described by G as a....Tweener. That may have been to soften the blow to the masses.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16

Appearing on Sirius NFL Radio, Redskins GM Scot McCloughan suggested seventh-round pick Keith Marshall will have a role in the backfield this season.

"It's a two-headed monster in the backfield," said McCloughan, a statement that runs a bit contrary to the largely-held perception that Matt Jones has workhorse potential. McCloughan sounded very excited about Marshall's prospects this year. "He's a one-cut guy and when he puts his foot in the ground, he can FLY," said the second-year GM. "He's 220 (pounds) and he can FLY. ... Keith's done a really good job. A really good job."

interesting statement. It would be great if this kid can come in and contribute right away.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16

Looking forward to seeing the preseason games. Mainly I think we will get to see a lot of our depth go against one level better. I expect our firsts will do a few reps and sit and it's always good to see how the 2nds do against the other team's firsts etc.

p.s. I know it's just preseason, so shortly after the Falcons game, expect me to be posting is it real yet!!

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16

I hope Stephen Daniels recovers and it's not a career ending type of injury. Shoulder is a tough spot for a downhill thumper to get an season ending injury.

I was really looking forward to watching that kid b/c he has a size and style of play that our lbs lack.
I hope this doesn't end up like S Jordan Bernstein.

I always considered Keith Marshall as a contributor in the backfield, injury is his problem. Dude just stays hurt.

Not surprised at all. Even before Gallette's injury I didn't see the sense nor did think moving Trent to 5-tech would work.
Trent can set the edge like a beast and give some occasional pass rush, but the main thing he can do is to eat up some quality snaps in base to keep Preston/Ryan fresh.

Only in the NFL could a 290 pounder be called a tweener. Murphy claims that he hasn't lost any quickness with his added weight. If that's true, why not use him at OLB?
