Jets Gameday Thread
It's week 2 of the pre-season and we're taking on the J-E-T-S!
Lets talk about something other than the Cleveland QB. What are you guys looking for/hoping to see today? Personally I'm not worried about the running game but would like to see some production today. Wanna see the Defense keep flying around with high energy. And more Cravens. Specific players I'll be watching: Cousins P. Smith Cravens Spaight Washington Redskins run game must produce against New York Jets - NFL Nation- ESPN

I'm trucking out to Raljon in a couple hours. I despise going over there but the tickets, food and drink are free. I want to see our running backs and o-line look good against a solid front 7. From the defense I want to see them stuff the run. And no injuries.

I think our passing game will look great as always. I predict we look like shit against a GREAT run defense and then we all hit the panic button. :P

Hopefully our offense can get a TD in the first couple series but other than that it'll be a boring game

- I don't know why people are surprised by the run game *shrugs* our schematic/philosophical coaching emphasis is the passing game.
- Imo the run defense is going to hinge on whether or Baker can be talked into playing NT in base D. He and Ricky are solid in the run game, the OLB are solid setting the edge. But without Baker or someone else stepping up at NT to keep Compton clean I doubt if our run D will improve. -I wish they would move Sua to SS in base D already and stop with the "LB" stuff, I would start Bruton/Sua and use Hall as Swiss army NB/Slot S - Imo we have 4 good Safeties, Bruton, Duke, Hall, Sua I hope to see some cobra/big nickel packages -Wonder if Riley is gonna push Compton for his spot -Want to see Keith Marshall with the 1st unit |
