If there is pressure. The WR needs to know that he had to sit on that route. Crowder didn't because Kirk never called Max Pro. IE Kirk will usually call out "Oscar" or "Rhino"

Was a simple miscommunication by both guys and it cost us. It's something they will get better at as years go on.
Very good point. We need to remember that kirk is young in playing experience.

No excuses. As much as it pains me to say so, Dak Prescott hasn't thrown a pick like that this year, and Kirk has a lot more experience than he does. I don't know if it was on Kirk or Crowder (or both) -- clearly they weren't on the same page, which is a shame as Crowder was open (as was the deeper route).

So frustrating that they lost. But one game at a time -- beat the snot out of the reeling Eagles, and focus on nothing else. I think they can win out -- they've already beaten two of the teams they're playing, and Chicago is no good. The Panthers strike me as the East coast version of the Cardinals, although after last night, it looks like they're mailing it in (let's hope).

Let's see what fight these guys have in December. I hope it's a lot.

We need this kid to comeback and start to dominate, we need DL help.

Freeze the video at 2:15.... Just take a look at Crowder (at the bottom of the screen).

That fade pass was going to Jackson no matter what.

True shit right there. Right now we only need to focus on beating the Eagles, if we do that we can get right back on track. As far as the pick goes, Kirk was under more pressure yesterday than he has been most of the year. It's not inconceivable to think that after the strip sack and the pressure it was getting to him and it affected that throw. In case anyone forgot two of our linemen went down, and Lauvao was getting beat like a red-headed stepchild. Hopefully they will be better this week.

Lauvao on the sack fumble literally got fork lifted and put on rollerskates. We need someone in the interior of our defense that's capable of doing that.

That's what I was wondering... and find really stupid. How can McVay keeps calling for that "automatic-don't-look-for-any-other-option" quick fade although it never worked ?! ... Crowder was wide open...

I watched J Falcon's link and Crowder was Wide Open at 2:15.

I wanted to understand how we got stuffed so bad the play before (at 2:08)

Scherff is the only one who came close to winning their battle. As a matter of fact, he blocked his man & Lauvao. Was Lauvao actually trying to Pull....on the goal line or did he just back pedal?

He ends up following the back through the line.

Moses looked like he just fell forward & Sullivan was bent backwards.

And Arie on the left side looked like he won the toss & "elected to receive". Mauro (#97) absolutely destroyed him.

God awful play call & even worse execution.

People blame kirk but he had zero chance on that play. Plus we should have ran the fucking ball anyway

I hate to say it, but that play was fuckin awesome. I want McC to draft a strong dline man and sign one..Or mayb grab one of those jets interior dlinemen. Both on the block after the season.

I agree with you, and I don't understand. A fade play to a 5'10' finesse guy?

If Davis couldn't do it, at least Garcon (even though he's about 6'0') is capable of out-muscling the defender for the ball!
