Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
Yeah that was a mental mistake, he should have slowed up, waited for the ball to get there, and tackled him. No doubt he's gonna stew on this one for a while, as he should. Plenty of time for him to get better though.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
That non tackle by the Saints safety might have been the single worst thing ive ever seen a player do. Rookie or not. Who cares. Lots of rookies play and dont do that. What the hell r u thinking man. Wow.

NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

Couldn’t agree more. I find it extremely hard to believe he did that to the point i think he also might have done it on purpose. Unreal. The only thing u cannot do is duck out of his way. Part of me feels bad for him but that seriously is what i would have done if it was me. Lol. Duck my head and get out of the way. Unreal. Edit: And enough with incredible play or throw or catch. In that situation nobody is going to hit the quarterback and risk a 15 yarder and another play. Nobody is going to commit PI. The defense is basically giving u the throw and catch to that point of the field. Why in the hell are u running at the wr like u want to knock the ball out after the catch. Let him catch it so what? How are there no other db’s anywhere in the vicinity. If that was the Skins losing like that id be throwing up from disgust still. Probably hospitalization necessary. Cannot even imagine. |

Would it be something if the Eagles/Vikings meet in MN with the Jaguars and not the Patriots?!

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
The kid was told not get a PI penalty. So, he was just trying to hit the receiver and completely whiffed on the tackle.

NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)

I don’t think he whiffed, it looks to me like he was worried about the PI so he held up and sort of got out of the way. But at that point take the PI. You know u r the last line of defense. You cannot in any world avoid the hit/tackle for fear of a PI call there. And if that was a whiff it was literally the worst attempt at a tackle ever. You just gotta let him catch it. Sure Diggs could have still made u miss, but chances are he doesn’t if u r there waiting. Just grab him , hold on for dear life, and wait for an assist on the tackle at the very least. I like both the teams, i do not gamble. I have zero vested interest in the game, but I am absolutely tormented by that play. Lol. |

Would be awesome. I cannot believe the Eagles keep winning without Wentz. If he was healthy I think they literally steamroll everyone. Jim Schwartz is a defensive guru. Rex Ryan could have kept him in Buffalo and probably saved his job. I dont know why it took so long for someone to hire him. What is up with that year off he had? Why in the hell couldn’t we have gotten him? Im pulling for the Jags now. But that Eagles Defense is nasty. Just nasty. And Minnesota looking at home field for the Superbowl. Great games still to come. Maybe one of these years the Skins will be in the mix. |

Agree. You have to make that tackle or at the minimum get a piece of him.

Re: NFL Playoffs thread (2017-18)
It's crazy that after the Shazier injury these guys still try to tackle w/ their heads down. All that clown had to do was keep his head up, wrap up and tackle the guy.
