2026 Commanders Training Camp
Has begun. Allegretti suffered some sort of injury today. Undisclosed what type. Hopefully nothing significant. Reportedly, receivers impressed today especially Williams. Burks and Dyami too and Brown was the 1st one to practice. Baptiste looked sharp rushing the passer. Defense needs to be way better. Injuries were horrible last season. Nice to have football back even if only camp.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
I can’t wait for this to get rolling. We are going to surprise some folks this year. Week one: WAS 31 PHI 16. You heard it here first.
Saw some of the videos today - Williams, Burks and Brown had some very nice catches. Bill looks bigger without losing a step (not full pads of course). JD5 had a few nice darts too. Sounds like Oweh is the real deal too. Excited about this group. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Bill reportedly has "juice" and is explosive. Has a legit, real 2nd gear. I would not sleep on Kaytron Allen at all. Think this could be a good 1-2 punch. I think people will be surprised how improved the defense is. Need Trey Amos back asap which he should be.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Video of Styles is impressive. I can’t wait for his first sack on Hurts week 1. Should have a sign that says “It’s Always Sonny in Philadelphia.” I think this guy is going to be outstanding for us.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
I still think we need another #2 receiver.
I do expect Antonio Williams to eventually start. I mean we are only a couple of days in but his ability to create space makes him different than anyone else other than Terry. Burks shines it tight windows like the red zone they have been practicing, that is his specialty, so that's a good sign, but what about the other 80 yards. It would just help Jayden to not have to throw into tight coverage so much. Putting so much on Chig is limiting. Alligretri is just a calf strain, Burks is a foot, both minor. I am worried about the Center drop-off, not so much Burks. Rasul Douglas is one to watch with a pick six today. I believe he is at least as good as Mikey and maybe better. Oweh is making his presence known. Jayden off a bit, but that could be due to being under center, plus a backup too. It is a new role for him, so this will be good to watch. Under center, timing is critical, which is why quick separation is so key. Either that or awesome body positioning. Frankly, its only 2 days, all short passes, so Burks should shine and Williams and the RBs. I know Bill and White made nice catches, but Bill fumbled, gotta stop that. Chig caught some, dropped some. 2 days in tells nothing other than, can a new offense score against a new defense, the answer is yes. Nicki Jaballa said in a tweet her assessment was a gif of Stefon Diggs for what it is worth. I do feel much better about defensive speed and the late add of Rasul Douglas to CB. Id love to see a better backup/starting center and maybe a Diggs type. No clue on safety gaps yet as its all been goal line. Would love to see deep throws to Brown and Lane develop. Brown did catch a toe toapper btw, so all the WR's are showing up, just minimal separation. Frankly, no real suprises

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
He is an absolute beast physically. Freaky speed and size. Sky is truly the limit for him. Love drafting Ohio St kids.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Sinnott on the radio says he loves the new offense and thinks he'll have real opportunities now. Interesting. Will be different seeing JD5 under center a lot more. I like him in shotgun more with his skillset but will be open minded.

Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp
Deebo is back on the menu boys! I figured they would eventually pick him up after the other options didn't pan out.

Sorry, meant Diggs is back on the menu. It's interesting to see that Deebo wasn't even an option for us this summer. https://x.com/john_keim/status/2082999952771297461
