It was the wrong choice for sure. Way too aggressive and borderline asinine to not take points with the long drive. SMH. Just a rash, poor choice kind of like the play call with the 2 pointer against Philly. Imagine Seattle is looking forward to their visit to DC in 1 week. Brutal.

I have zero issue with going for the TD, it’s not a take the points kind of league anymore. You have the chance to tie up a division game on the road with a QB that was balling out and people were really ok with taking 3?

I know the injury is super frustrating but let’s not act like the decision to go for the TD got him hurt.

They had 2 chances in the series to do it before and didn't get it in. Very long drive and you can cut it to 4 pts with receiving the ball first 2nd half. I could maybe see it if we are at the 1 yd line not the 3-4 yd line as was reality. We had certain momentum kicking the field goal going into half. This choice killed that momentum.

Great game by Chris Paul yesterday. Steps on our QB's foot to effectively ruin the whole season. How the fuck does a Guard step on the QB? Then completely whiffs his block on the screen that leads to a fumble which was the final nail in the coffin to ensure we lose.

Yeah. I ordered the NFL package yesterday. And got the new iPhone in Burgundy. I clearly jinxed us all with my very-dubious-in-hindsight choices yesterday.

Seriously, with the injuries and a concern about whether we have a team that will be able to compete this season (in week 2!), this is about as low as I have felt as a fan in a while. Like RG-knee bad.

Our offense actually had some real flashes, particularly in the run game. And Diggs has been terrific, as has Hamilton (he’s now something like 7 catches on 7 targets in 2 games; needs more targets). And Kinlaw was having his best game for us before he was injured too. Rashad White and Fatman looked good too. As did Cosmi before his bell was rung.

Biggest disappointments are all of our CBs, Chenal, Oweh (non factor yesterday), Payne (he needs to be benched - atrocious effort), Terry (pains me to say it but he looks a step slow and wasn’t able to hang on to any contested catches yesterday), and the coaching staff for not having them ready (again - we have to stop spotting everyone a 10 point lead).

GM is ass and needs to go. JD5 sadly has confirmed his RGIII status. That was non-contact. The rest is on the front office. It's not a good enough team to compete, full stop. Both sides of the ball. Other teams can see it and they exploit it week to week.

New FO, start from the ground up. I hate to say it, but there it is. In a way, JD5 carrying us his rookie year gave a false sense that we were back to glory. Nope.

But the best ability is availability.. really sucks. Really thought we'd be set for 5-10 years.

Thats not even why we will ultimately lose games. The roster, like most years, just is not good enough to compete. 5-6 wins max this year. Theres blood in the water and the rest of the competent coaches will have DQ looking like Ron on the sideline for the rest of the year.
