Re: Around the League Week 3

Getting Amos back -- hopefully for the Giants game -- will be very helpful. And we need Nick Cross to come back soon too (worried about the guy -- very little information on his situation and he's not traveling to London).

I agree that there ought to be more we can get out of our current personnel (and can't help but wonder whether there's more of a role for Tyler Owens -- 6'2" 213 lbs and very fast).

Shit -- Dallas just traded a 2nd and conditional 6th for Joey Porter. I'd have done that deal.

Case Keenum hasn't been in a game starting in three years as he played like an All Pro!

Yeah that's a good move by Cowboys. I would do that deal as well, although Keim explained in his podcast that Porter is good at man to man defense, and kinda weak in zone defense. We play zones a lot so Porter isn't a good fit for us.

Re: Around the League Week 3

Nothing beyond short term IR (4 weeks) but that there was some question about whether it would be necessary during camp and that the hope would be for him to come back as soon as the 4 weeks were up. But nothing recent, which is a bit concerning.

It’s also weird we know so little about Cross’s status.
