Renaldo Wynn
http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=14543
Tough injury, especially as he was playing well over the last 6 games. Anyone think this hurts us badly as Daniels is more of our QB pressure guy? DO we have anyone on the PS to bring in to cover depth or are we looking at a desperate dip into the FA pool? |

Re: Renaldo Wynn
Man that sucks. But it does let everyone know the players we have , play %100 with no other regard. They can always put Lavar in at d-end

Re: Renaldo Wynn
Wynn is a defensive leader, much like Randy Thomas was a team leader. Funny that both of them are injured and out.
I could not stand this guy Wynn a couple of years ago..he was terribly overpaid for being such an average DE. However, he's been a stand up guy, he restructured his contract just to be with the team and create cap-space, and he's been responsible for team chemistry. Not to mention, he's been contributing in the form of tipped passes and blocked field goals. Sad to see him out. Thanks for the leadership this year, Renaldo! |

Re: Renaldo Wynn
man i feel bad for daniels. He was devistated. he said after the game that he was crying the entire game. Now i know he probably wasn't crying but talking about it it seemed like he was gonna tear up. I don't think he should blaim himself or feel bad. It wasn't his fault. I am sure he understands that but he really has to understand it was a loss that could not be avoided.
I say we get wynn a ring. I nice big ring. something that says XL on it. |

Re: Renaldo Wynn
That was wicked ugly to see. Reminded me of Joey T's leg snap.
They gave him the game ball and that's cool. Don't tell me the Redskins won't "lay it ALL on the field for the Team" Heal up well Mr. Wynn!

Re: Renaldo Wynn
this is going to be a tough loss in leadership as well as against the run in a game against one of the best rushing teams in the last couple years. But the thing on the side of the skins is because of other injuries and the scheme Williams utilizes, the line is always getting mixed up with guys getting rotated in and out almost every drive. I think with Evans we might be able to get a bit more pressure on passing downs and we might see more of the safeties helping out against the run than we normally would.

Re: Renaldo Wynn
Hate seeing an injury like that. Especially when it involves a team player like Wynn, a nice young man from Notre Dame, who restructured his deal to help us out.
I think we can survive this loss. Evans seemed to do a good job in there and I think Daniels will avenge this injury by stepping up his game even more (if that's possible). Get well soon Renaldo! |
