Re: Adam Archuleta to the Skins?

special teams don't get the respect unless they are scoring the TD's or their name is dante hall or Brian Mitchell. And even B Mitch didn't get the respect becomin a vet w/ the skins. glad they let him retire w/ the burg and gold.

Thrash was the guy (when Tupa was punting) who was down there almost EVERY TIME to down the ball within the 5.

Yup, that ancient history that was all of one season ago. Regardless of who was there as punter, both Jimoh and Thrash were always ALL OVER the punts that Frost "boomed".

Re: Adam Archuleta to the Skins?

D'BOYZ, lavar saves 4.2 regardless. jansen, samuels, springs, brunell, portis, thomas have all restructured if the cba dies. that could be over 10$ mill + 4.2 (lavar) right there.

the projected cuts (regardless of cba) are 11$mill. we're not in terrible shape.

the 30% rule ONLY went into effect because its the year before an expiring cba (and the last salary capped season). A new cba would kill it.

Yeah I know the 4.2 is saved regardless because of him being cut and that was the agreement for his realeas

And no the 30% rule has Allways been in the CBA check previous contracts you can't have a contract with a BASE salary with an increase of the salary of beyond 30% each season. you can have roster bonus, incentives, or bonus but the player salary can't have an increase of beyond 30%

no, the 30% rule only came into effect this year, that's why guys like jansen and others jumped up in salary this season. It stays in effect into uncapped years too.

jansen in 2004 made 1.3, this year he makes 4mill, 1.3 *1.3 = 1.8 * 1.3 = 2.4.

2.4 is not close to 4, so the contract had to jump more than 30% in base in either 2005 or 2006. so you're wrong :P
