Re: Meet Brandon Lloyd
once someone pointed out we couldn't get a WR in the draft that'd contribute immediately (duh, something i've said myself a ton of times :/ ) I was a lot more at ease with giving up the picks. hopefully his attitude problems stay in san fran.

Re: Meet Brandon Lloyd
If he can get over the drop problem (if he even has one) I can see him being a lot like Chad Johnson.

Re: Meet Brandon Lloyd
maybe a poor man's version. he's not as fast as tall or as good at catching balls.

Your guess as to why we paid so much, both in Draft picks and in Cash. I'm not sold totally for or against him, just driven to get the best Fantasy Value when I re-start my League.

Re: Meet Brandon Lloyd
well, moss is top 5 and randle is top 37, so that's a pretty good pair. you gotta figure lloyd would do better with an NFL qb tossing him balls and moss taking the #1 CB off him.

Re: Meet Brandon Lloyd
Alot of people scratched their heads in wonder when we acquired Moss last year and immediately inked him to a nice contract, we all know how that turned out.

And you know from watching him today in the interview with George Michael & Joe Gibbs he certainly does not sound like a guy with an attitude problem. He seems very excited about being here and want's to be here for a long time. His main goal seems to be about winning, and of course that's what it's about. |

Re: Meet Brandon Lloyd
Oh, but he does have "attitude problems". And hopefully they will go away once he is on a team that is not a double-digit underdog every week. The word all over SF was that the coaching staff was praying that they could get some kind of offer to move him out of town so they could get something in return because they really did not want him back.
If he was simply frustrated with the ineptitude of the Niners, then he'll be fine here. But if he is a head case, he'll clash with the coaching staff here as much if not worse than he did in SF. Keep an eye on this one; it could be a valuable addition to the Skins or it could be a monumental bust. Oh, and any resemblance between Brandon Lloyd and Chad Johnson ends once you have observed that each player has two hands and two legs and one a$$hole...
