Favorite Foes?
I was watching some old Randall Cunningham clips and I remembered how much I enjoyed watching him play despite hating the Eagles (and the whole city of Philly) so much. Since Ben Franklin and the birth of our great nation, the only good things to come from Philadelphia are cheesesteaks (which I jusy had 2 of), Mike Schmidt and Mr. Cunningham.
Ok. The point of the thread. Who were your favorite players (if any) from our NFC East rivals? Mine are: Eagles: Randall Cunningham Cowboys: Herschel Walker Giants: Couldn't really think of any that stood out, but I always liked Jeff Hostetler for some reason. Too bad he couldn't run anymore when we got him. I never had a problem with Phil Simms either. Sure, even crappy teams can get a good guy once in a while. Yours? |

Re: Favorite Foes?
When I was a kid, Randy White and Harvey Martin for the Cowboys. They used to terrorize.
For those of you who can't remember who they were, remember I was a kid dammit! |

Re: Favorite Foes?
i hate all those teams, but L.T. of the giants was a killer. people talk about so and so being a beast, but no one in todays game matches up with him, that son of a bitch. used to give my man joe jacoby all he could handle, and then some

Boy oh boy didn't he. I remember a game when they came to RFK and LT singled handedly terrrorized our offensive line and Joe Theisman. And I'm not talking that Monday night game when he broke Joey T's leg. LT has got to be the most dominant defensive player ever - ever. |

Re: Favorite Foes?
cant put a former cowboy player here....but as far as for the giants..bavaro had his moments against us and as far as the eagles...every player on d that lined up against in the "body bag" game. I have a friend who is a huge eagles fan and he finds times to remind me of that game regularly.
