They blow. That is why I hope that Simms is out when they play us. Otherwise if he plays, I hope the Taratula spits in his face.

yeah, not the biggest bucs fan (but they do have the best looking cheerleaders in the league) and not a fan of Chris or his dad, but hate to see people getting hurt like that.

Wait a minute... he makes how much money to suck that bad???? F'em. I hope he breaks his other spleen!!

j/k....

Re: Chris Simms has spleen removed after loss to Carolina

My daughter had a rare blood disorder where her spleen was killing healthy blood cells thinking that they where bad blood cells. If her treatment would not have worked the next option was to remove her spleen so I do know a little about this. One can live a normal life without a spleen but will need to take medication which will help the bodies immune system. Most people need to take the medication for the rest of there life but thats about the biggest effect from having one removed. Like Sims or not that was a guttsy performance to stay out there and play (I sound like Gibbs talking about Brunell). I hope the best for him and a quick recovery.

More than anything, I think this goes to show in today's NFL you must have two quarterbacks on your roster capable of starting.

Of course you mean the SECOND best looking cheerleaders in the league.

Frankly, the Bucs should IR him so he can get healthy. They are 0-3, and he's out for the foreseeable future. Why risk his long term health to rush him back for a lost season?
It's six weeks for a typical person, who is an office employee, postal carrier, or ditch digger, but I think it's a little longer for an athlete. He could be out for the season, especially considering he was in critical condition at the time he arrived at the hospital.
