Rogers Suffers Broken Thumb

Rogers Suffers Broken Thumb
October 16
Washington Post (registration required): "The Washington Redskins' struggling secondary took another blow yesterday when cornerback Carlos Rogers broke his thumb, which could hinder his playmaking ability in coming weeks."

Oh no, what are we going to do without his playmaking ability? No more interceptions, no more batted down passes, no more shut down coverages...I guess it'll be business as usual against the Colts.

PS. Minor milestone...my number of posts match a real defender's Jersey number.

I care if it keeps him from playing. I've been critical of him, but do we wanna seen Kenny Wright and Mike Rumph starting at CB this weekend against the Colts? OMG...that will be a massacre.

What are we going to do without all those picks that Carlos keeps nabbing?

Kenny Wright was the ONLY one making plays the last two games you guys!! I'll take him any day over Rogers.

My dad told me about Rogers yesterday and I said the exact same thing right way. That made my dad start laughing because he said the guys on the radio were saying the same thing.

It's true...maybe Danny could pay for a prosthesis that auto clasps on incoming footballs??? Really, the guy can't catch hence the reason he plays defense.

Re: Rogers Suffers Broken Thumb

Has anyone seen that movie the replacements?
I think if the WP guys took over we couldnt do much worse and maybe even a little better. Im sure we could save $nyder a bunch of money if he even cared about saving money on payroll. Payroll is his best advertiser and marketing propaganda machine that he has going. I tell you what it suck rogers is hurt, but if we lose to the Colts as much as a formidable opponent as they are I am gonna start as the Orioles fans did and promote a Free the Redskins campaign to have Snyder or Vinny whoever is guilty for the ridiculous team that goes out there year in year out. What do we have to show for this team with no draft picks and washed up aged old players?? This is crazy, I can't watch the team I love get raped week in week out and continue to have a support for them. This is a 15 year old abusive relationship. After a while you begin to assume the Skins like to be fed the raping. Maybe Snyder bets against us who knows he is crazy dumb rich regardless win or lose.
