Heard about the Will Call fee thing?
I was listening to the Sports Reporters this morning, you know, Steve Czaben and the crew, and some guy called in and said that there is a fee for picking up tickets via will call. And not just any fee, any 50 freaking dollar fee! Wtf is up Danny? Is it just me or is this guy making us give him so much money for a team that is so outta sync and obviously needs a general manager?
Anyone else heard of this fee, and does it exist anywhere else like at any other venues? |

First I've heard about this. Not surprised though if it's true.

Re: Heard about the Will Call fee thing?
Has anyone used will call this season? I really can't believe they could get away with this for 3 (5 including preseason) games so far this year and this is the first we've heard of it.
Side note: Here's a quick will call tip that I accidently figured out a few years ago. I was picking up tickets so I walked up to the first Will Call window I saw without noticing that it was supposed to be for people with last names starting with X-Z. There was no line so I started talking to the woman right away; I said my last name and she said I was at the wrong window, but then sort of looked around and said she'd get me my tickets anyways. It should have taken me about 15 mintues but because of my own stupidity/drunkeness it only took me about 2. I would only try this if there is no line at the last window just in case they make you go wait in the right line.

I didn't even know there was a will call. What tickets are they selling?

Re: Heard about the Will Call fee thing?
I doubt that's true. There would have been HUGE outrage about that already.

Re: Heard about the Will Call fee thing?
A small fee ($5-10) is possible, but raise your hand if you would ever consider Will Call if aware of the $50 fee.
--------------------------------- That's how you make it go away?

I'd consider running my fist through the glass into someone's face.

Re: Heard about the Will Call fee thing?
you don't get charged if you have season tickets. if you don't have season tickets and you leave tickets (that you've bought online etc) than it's 50$
at least that's how it was explained when they (sportstalk980) talked to a rep from the redskins about it. |

Re: Heard about the Will Call fee thing?
My understanding is that this isn't unique to the Redskins though, from what I've heard.
