So it is just completely absurd that Manning could throw 60 tds.

He already has a season with 49. You are right, 11 more is physically impossible.

Seriously guys, why not lighten up a bit? We are what we are. We're not a good team. The defense is a couple players away from being elite again. The offense has the playmakers and just needs a quarterback. Is it Campbell? I sure hope so, but if not, that's the position that needs to be addressed before this team even whispers playoffs or Super Bowl.

Seriously, it's posts like that which make you look so childish Offiss. It gives Redskins fans a bad name. Grow up for once in your life and stop with this petty name calling crap. And I don't care if you took the last 15 minutes to study your own hand (something tells me you actually did,) I'm not going to continue on sinking to your level of immaturity.

Actually yes, it is absurd. 60 TDs?? That's an average of almost 4 TDs per game.

Manning had a brilliant season and beat the record by 1 TD.

1, that's it.

Someone will throw 60 TDs as soon as someone hits 100 HRs in baseball.

that whats makes Campbell sitting so frustrating. we gave up draft choices for him and other players that could've been making all the difference on our defense now.

I don't know, Matty. I think that Marino's 48 were extremely impressive in his era since so many rules are in place now that help scoring and protect the QB more but with these new rules, I think all of the offensive records will be re-written.

Well the way things are going in redskin land these days they might be better off with the GIG crew, I need someone new to hand me excuses on sundays on why we lost, and the best way to make sure that happens is hiring the CREW, you know the guy's who believe everything is ok so long as Gibbs is in charge. Although I think going with someone who believes we need to fix our problems rather than trotting them out on to the field every sunday would be a better way to go.

Why even bother, you know what everything is fine, Gibbs knows what he's doing, Brunell will eventually become the SB QB we all know he's capable of, and all the pre game football shows will stop grinning when the name Mark Brunell is mentioned, can't wait.

Are you talking about the Joey Harrington with a QB rating of 65 and has thrown 50% more picks than TDs. Please spare me. He's better than he was in Detroit, but that says nothing.

The team would be better off because my first move would be to fire Vinny F-ing Cerrato. I would hire as many ex-redskins as possible and get the best GM that money could buy.

I don't drink the Kool-aid 24-7. Sorry.

I mean the Joey Harrington who just beat the Bears and Chiefs. Two teams that would obliterate us right now.

Whether He could actually get 60 is not the point the point is Manning would have a chance to possibly break a record with the talent on this offense, and the biggest point is he would blow away [which isn't saying much] Mark Brunell, that is the point being made by Grimm.

He is right by comparison, I would put Moss straight up talent wise with Harrison, El, and Lloyd combigned are better than Wayne and co. and Cooley is as good or better than D.Clark. Is Portis better than any back they have? You tell me? And he's right our lines are very comparable. so what's the problem??????????????????????
