And thank you for dumping Andre Carter and Brandon Lloyd on us! They've made a huge difference this season.

I think Lloyd has shown that he can make the plays when given the chance. I think he'll turn out to be a perfect compliment to Moss' high percentage catches and Cooley's clutch catches if they ever start a quarterback that can consistently get him the ball.

Carter is another player that is being affected by other factors, at least a little bit. Just about every successful defensive line has at least two players than can provide pressure on the quarterback. Griffin was good last season, but injuries have hampered him this year. With no one else producing ANY kind of pressure, Carter is getting most of the chips and double teams.

Yeah, I see your point on Lloyd. If we had a QB who could throw down-field on a regular basis, Lloyd might shine. I just wish we hadn't paid so much for him.

The 49ers have a better record then us......this season has turned into a nightmare. We're only better than Tampa and Det. :-(

Re: 49ers win

It's because the 49ers have a QB willing to go downfield. They're a perfect example of how SOME INTs are OK. Smith is an INT machine, but at least he also has some TDs.
