Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
The offense is finding a rhythem and identity with Campbell at the helm. He is starting to look to the receivers and once he works out some of the kinks he will be a solid starter capable of running this team. He gets my vote because of his progress.

Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
I voted for Suisham but i really wish I could have voted for all of them, all of them were tremondous efforts today on the behalf of our players, I thought campbells play in the second half today was pretty damn impressive, to be able to bounce back from two turnovers. It was nice to see a consistent kicker for a change that definitley has some range. Betts had a great game which I would more over give half of that credit to the offensive line, the holes he had out there today where huge. Lastly Randle El, he was very impressive to me today, It almost got me thinking that maybe we should try a little wildcat formation ourselves, like arkansas does with darren mcfadden, I gurantee saunders has something in his playbook like that, and hes definitley the right kind of player with the right kind of skills to pull off something like that.

Betts. He's played great in Portis' absence. Unfortunately this is only gonna fuel the trade Portis fans.

Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
while i never say anything about moral victories, i was impressed with alot about the skins today. our offensive line played very well. the play calling was very good. our kicking game was superb. and Campbell's mistakes are easily correctable. very pleased with the overall effort

Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
maybe campbell should be changed to "campbell 2nd half". he was great in the 2nd half but dam that first half was frusterating. i thought the o-line did great, but im gonna have to go with betts. awesome day from him

Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
I went with Suisham mainly because Campbell's INT's led to 14 points for the Eagles. He pulled himself together and rallied in the second half which was awesome. I give him that. Betts ran very well but the Eagles have given up a lot of solid rushing numbers to RB's lately. I can't even remember the last time we had a 4/4 FG day. I know I'll never forget Lohmiller kicking 5 versus the Vikings many moons ago. Randle El had a pretty cool day, I almost voted for him. He was a close second in my opinion. All in all, the four individuals were bright spots in their own respects.

I agree 100%. Thats why I voted for Campbell. Betts does deserve it I just think it would be best not to praise Betts to much so we can avoid the trade Portis talks. |

I'm voting for Betts strictly on his production, but the OL did a very good job of making life easy for him today. We may also have found ourselves a kicker.

Ladell should break 1000 on the ground this year, which means we'll have the luxury of two legitimate, 1000-yard rushers who can also both catch. Now if Saunders can just take advantage.... |

Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
Also, am I the only one who thinks the 2nd INT was totally on Cooley, or at least the kind of fluke that isn't really the QB's fault?
I mean, a stat's a stat, and just like when Santana would catch a 7 yard screen and turn it into a 60 yard TD scamper, Brunell would get credit for a score, but still... I saw a ball hit Chris right in the numbers and he just muffed it straight into the arms of Mike Lewis, surely that one was on the receiver, not Jason. |

Re: Redskins/Eagles bright spot of the day
Betts did great, but I went with ARE. Great catches, decent returns, and one sick throw. Been waiting for him to show what he can do--I found that very encouraging.
Betts was nice, but, not to take anything away, the o-line was kicking ass on the run blocking. THere were some mack-truck size holes there. (Philly has given up a lot of yards on the ground lately.) Suisham was good, but only because I feared the worse, and he hit the makeable FGs. Campbell is a work in progress, but that TD pass was a thing of beauty, and we saw again that the kid gets up off the mat after making mistakes. It will come.

I voted for Betts because after 2 weeks of that kind of running he deserves it (does anyone else remember the stat of how Gibbs never loses when a rusher goes over 100 yards...so much for that) but I don't think we should trade Portis...he is a better blocker and Betts also has nagging injury problems (like Portis). So, if we keep them both at least one of them should be suiting up each week.
