Redskins cards on eBay

I was browsing through lots of Skins cards on eBay and came across something really odd.

Apparently Heath Shuler was a chameleon.

eBay: 93-95 Playoff Contenders Washington Redskins Team Sets (item 300067989089 end time Feb-06-07 09:42:39 PST)

Also, if anyone wants 5,000 Redskins cards, here you go:

eBay: 5,000 Washington Redskins Cards (item 270081114490 end time Jan-25-07 18:27:08 PST)

Re: Redskins cards on eBay

Oh man! I might ask him if he'd sell those Shuler and Westbrook cards separately.

Re: Redskins cards on eBay

I'm really trying to figure this out though.

Did we have a *darker-skinned* QB who wore #5?

Is this a sick photoshop joke?

Seriously, Shuler looks a lot like Brunell. Take his name off and put Brunell on there and I don't think I'd know the difference.

Except for the fact he was a giant douchebag and more fragile than Pinkston, Westbrook actually played well when he was actually on the field.

Re: Redskins cards on eBay

In '94 (the 75th anniverary patch year), our QBs were Frerotte, Shuler, John Friesz and Brian Mitchell ( ).

Re: Redskins cards on eBay

I have a few of those cards somewhere. Reggie Brooks was one of the biggest one year wonders I've ever seen. Great rookie year... then nothing. I still scratch my head over that one.

He didn't look fragile when he was beating Stephen Davis during training camp though.

Yeah, he was such a disappointment...I was so excited when we drafted him.

Yeah, that was a dick move on his part.

Anyone have some info on if he's still cage fighting these days?

Re: Redskins cards on eBay

I met Tydus Winans in LA one time and he said Tom Carter was the greatest athlete ever. He also said Carter had a 48 Inch Vertical!
