How about those Dirtbags??

Call it a day of zeroes!

0 - holding penalties
0- sacks allowed
0- false starts

Not too mention they paved the way for over 150 yds rushing. Call me Sally, this is something special!!! When was the last time we have seen anything like that??? 1991?

They played great, especially compared to last year. But there was one holding penalty on Kenyatta Jones. Still this years o-line has gotten off to a great start. I thought the TE's and WR's also did a great job of blocking as well.

They played great and it was only the first game. They should do better every week.

Even when the game was tied at 10, something just told me Gibbs had everything in control. In years past, when the other team would come back and tie the game, I would assume, "yep this is when the Skins' start giving the game away"...but I'll tell ya, if they give the same effort week in and week out, this team has nowhere to go but up!

Did you see how calm Gibbs remained right after the fumble/TD that tied the game at 10? The camera zoomed in on his face and he looked very cool.
You knew he was dissappointed, but he remained calm and sure of himself. That had of helped Brunnell and the rest of the team to go out and win the game.

What we are seeing is nothing unusual, just a product of a Joe Gibbs coached football team. I cannot get over how organized this team is.

We did have at least one holding penalty, on Kenyatta Jones. Brunell, while standing in the endzone, was taking his time before hitting Portis(?) in the flat.

That hold on Kenyatta was almost worth it though. Could you imagine how the momentum would have shifted if the Bucs get Brunell in the end zone for a safety then get the ball back

I was extremely pleased with the pass protection and the lack of penalties. The run-blocking needs to improve, but I am sure Bugel will take care of that. He's turned this o-line around.
