Campbell facing imposing challenge
Campbell facing imposing challenge vs. Dolphins - 09/08/2007 - MiamiHerald.com
I thought this article was a good reminder that Jason has his work cut out for him against the Miami defense. I'm confident he will do well, but these guys are a handful. |

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
LOL a bit of a homer slant but that's to be expected I guess. They're not the '86 Bears.

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
"Your running game has been clogged like an old sink, the secondary is confusing you with funky coverages and defensive wizard Dom Capers hasn't even started with his zone blitzes yet."
Yea we'll see about that. "Tim Hasselbeck, Matt Cassel, Brooks Bollinger, Tim Rattay and even Rex Grossman all have been victimized by Miami's defense." I wouldn't put JC in this class, I guess they just mean that the D has done well vs young QBs. Only Grossman still starts though. I do agree that if the fins D gets to JC it could be an extremely long day for the skins. I want quick decisions. |

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
as long as campbell doesn't have to face too many 3rd and long situations, he should be fine.

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
So how do you handle a 4th ranked swarming defense? You play NFL East style "SMASH MOUTH" football, in other words Redskins football. You go at the them with the running game and pound them like a hammer, Portis, Betts, SELLERS,Cartwright, boom!! I believe they are pretty light players and like a boxer, after you wear the out you go for the KILL!!

That's why I'd like to see Sellers get some early action. Bringing him down takes a lot of effort.

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
This article is ridiculously biased, I cant even take it seriously. All of those QB's mentioned besides Grossman arent even starters.

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
i respect your defense. but i dont sense the same kind of respect for our offense. i think the redskins will be able to run on the dolphins, as long as they stick with it

Its good though... I aint slamming it. I'm not expecting a shut out by any means. But you arnt going to light up our defense. I am predicting 13-17 pts from your offense (but your D could score too with our offense)... And I also think your offense would be getting more respect if Portis was healthy and ready to go. That is another reason I dont think it is getting as much credit as you feel it deserves... |

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
This game is going to rely on Campbell. Their back 4 are simply just bad. Their front 7 rival that of any in the nfl. We still need to pound the ball, but I expect a lot of high percentage quick plays in the passing game, tons of running, and the occasional play action and go deep.

Re: Campbell facing imposing challenge
Bet the under in this one, neither should be able to move the ball much as this one will be dominated by defense, this is 2 teams that are very similar, outstanding defense coupled with mediocre offenses, this game could be ugly.
