How many people were at the game?

I had heard somewhere that we had 110,000 people at the game. But for some reason it seems hard for me to believe considering it was raining and cold. Is this true and does out stadium even hold that much? If not how many people did we have?

very hard to believe we set a record...lots of empty seats....but could have been the rain...as has been mentioned...

There were a few empty seats in the club level, but those people were are hanging in the concourse.

Considering the weather, that was an amazing attendance, and one of the best games I ever caught pnuemonia at.

Just got back from the game and post-game tailgate. I know I'll be sick tomorrow, but man was it electric in there! I thought Dec 2005 against Dallas was electric, but today was unbef...gleivable in there.

LOL, same here. It was made a little extra special to me as my two Cowboy fan brother-in-laws were in the stands with me to share in the glory.

The fans were definitely louder than usual.

Weather schmeather, back in my day at RFK, Club Level meant sitting with the nacho guy and his heated cart.

GLAD to hear the fans were louder than usual.

Even in the upper Deck.... There were very few open seats.... The parking lots were more crowded earlier than I had ever seen.....

Re: How many people were at the game?

i thought there were a bunch of open seats on the club level and upper level, especially in the 2nd half.

atmosphere was good lots of love at the end of the game, felt bad for a few cowboys fans who got their asses whooped but this was nothing compared to the skins-boys MNF season opener a few years ago. THAT was insane! brawls, the MNF theme song being played, people were alil too drunk . .

go skins!

Plus, you had to walk uphill to your seats, and uphill to leave.

Re: How many people were at the game?

There are always a bunch of folks using the head and buying hotdogs, along with club level elites staying dry. All in all, it was the most packed I've ever seen the stadium.

The question about Cowboys fans is a good one. The season ticket couple behind me didn't show up, and in their place were 2 rowdy (for a while) Boys fans. PLEASE PEOPLE, if you can't go to a game, get your tix in the hands of Redskins fans. IT'S NOT THAT HARD!!

Thats not all true. I have 4 season tickets and try to sell them to skin fans only but I had several games this year that I just wanted to sell them and did not care who had the money. I offer them here first at my cost and they can be tough to sell. For yesterdays game I sold them to a friend who is a big skins fan. I wanted to go but my daughter turned 1 yesterday and after seeing the weather it did not bother me as much.
