jerry jones

so my gf got the hookup with the club seats tickets wooohhoo, anyway around the 2nd quarter i noticed ppl from my box kept getting up and looking to their right about 2 boxes away from us and kept talking that there was someone famous... and of course I peaked over and next thing i know it was none other than mr jerry jones. If you guys think that the game was meaningless for the cowboys im telling you right now that it was not, this guy kept pacing back and forth kept grabbing his hair everytime the cowboys made a bad play, it was hilarious. also there were some rappers(skins fans) next to us and they saw jerry jones too, about 4 of them got up and started boooing at jerry everytime they saw him giving him the thumbs down, pointing to their skins jerseys, and i pretty sure one of them at one point started yelling out plasticman.. it was awsssome lol ooohh yea also in our box i got to meet former attorney general Alberto Gonzales which was pretty cool. just thought i'd share the jerry jones (plasticman LOL) story

Re: jerry jones

Mark my words the Cowboys will try to move up to get Darren McFadden. Jerry is an Arkansas man and supports the University, plus what has been the Cowboys weakness? The running game.

Jerry Jones needs to be concerned. The Skins played outstanding against the Dallas starters. Win against Seattle and it's off to Dallas. T.O. wasn't there, but I'm sure Smoot, Springs and Landry will be waiting to knock his block off - just like Sean Taylor did when he played him. Go Skins!!!!! "F" Dallas!!!!!!

Re: jerry jones

No one is concerned. Not at all.

Skins are playing good ball right now.

But champions are NOT crowned in December.

Yeah, I kinda wish the fans weren't so cocky right now because the team isn't.

Not at all? You guys haven't looked good for nearly a month. Your first teamers looked like crap yesterday. They said some stat during the game- In your last 12 quarters you've scored 32 points and have gone 1-2 in those games. Not exactly taking momentum into the playoffs.

In all honesty, I thinkt he Cowboys can pull it together and get on a roll very quickly. Even without T.O., I might add. They still have that nasty defense that can turn the momentum in any game.

If the Skins get past Seattle (knock on wood), you better bet your bottom dollar they're going to rush for more than one yard.

Oh I agree. I don't think they're a bad team. On the contrary. But there is no denying that they have looked pretty bad lately.

Re: jerry jones

I have said all year the Cowboys were a damn good team. No having TO, Romo will need some time to adjust, but he should be back next week. One thing I can not stand today is the Cowboy fans screaming they didn't need the win, they weren't really trying. Playing your starters for 3+ quarters, subjecting your starts to a beating isnt' trying to win. I am sick of that crap. I have listened to it all day.

Now, had the game gone the other way, it would have been "we wanted to go into the playoffs high, we wanted to knock you guys out of the playoffs, we wanted to do this and that.. blah blah blah. fact is, the cowboys and fans are hoping its Seattle coming in next week and not us. because the first time we played them it was a last second game, very close, and definately winable for the skins, and this time around we flat out beat them up. TO or not, we are a totally different defense now than what we were in Dallas earlier in the year. TO beat us on coverage plays, not beating springs.

Re: jerry jones

And you can track back to the day that they clinched the division and a playoff berth is when they started to get conservative.

The coaching staff has made no secret that as soon as they clinched the division, priority 1 was to go to the playoffs relatively healthy. Priority 2 was to clinch home field.

If I were a Dallas fan I would be very concerned. After not playing up to their standards the last month can they just turn it on once the playoffs start? Shouldn't they be trying to peak going into the playoffs? I just don't see them getting to the SB the way they have been playing lately.

Gee I seem to remember a team that went 2-3 in December of 2006 and did pretty good in the post season..........Indianapolis.

Not to mention the last time the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in 1995, they were 2-2 in December. Again....not worried. We have 2 home games to win. Everyone else has a harder road to travel.
