Chad Johnson?
Just wondering your thoughts on this. Since a big type of wide reciever would be nice for the Skins, could Chad Johnson find his way into a Redskins uniform?

Re: Chad Johnson?
With Gibbs gone maybe. Gibbs wouldn't put up with his all about me attitude.
I personally would like to see him play for us. Big strong QB, big strong receiver, to hell with Brady and Moss. |

Re: Chad Johnson?
Just like every other "name" out there, probably going to cost too much for us this year.

Re: Chad Johnson?
I'd love to see it. He's the only primadonna receiver that I actually like.

Re: Chad Johnson?
He's too much of a hotheaded "Me first" player for my taste. IMO he's T.O. light. Besides, we'd have to trade for him and I don't think it's wise to give up picks for a guy like him. Does anyone know how old he is?

Re: Chad Johnson?
Is this real or a photoshopped picture?

Re: Chad Johnson?
I believe that picture is real and it was taken last offseason.

Re: Chad Johnson?
I threw out Javon Walker & people here had good reasons we shouldn't trade for him. I already have an opinion of CJ & I don't think he's a good fit here, even w/Gibbs gone. The chemistry that's been established here is fragile & doesn't need a guy like that to taint it.
He is still a top wr though, can't deny his ability & work ethic. I just think he's become more of a problem & might continue to do so here. |

Re: Chad Johnson?
Redskins typically give out 3-year contracts. They are technically like 5, 6, or 7-year deals, but they are designed to be restructured or cut after 3 years. So, you are only signing him to what amounts to a 3-year deal. I have no doubt that CJ can produce like a top WR the next three years. So, whether he's 25 or 30 really isn't a big deal to me.
