Wow Factor Combine Players
Who was the prospect at the combine that showed you that they should be in the Burgundy and Gold? For me there was a few guy's that I hope we consider, Below is my list tell what you think about it.
1. Devin Thomas WR Michigan State 2. Eddie Royal WR Virginia Tech 3. Josh Johnson QB San Diego 4. Arman Shields WR Richmond 5. Trevor Laws DT Notre Dame 6. Adarius Bowman WR Oklahoma St I would love to see us get Devin Thomas he had a 4.38 40 and he does Special teams. Eddie Royal killed it at the combine would love to see him on the Skins. 3rd round on Royal is well spent

Re: Wow Factor Combine Players
I've fallen in love with Josh Johnson as well.
Also, Jerome Simpson WR Coastal Carolina has been impressive, he just broad jumped 11'4". He also, apparently, has the largest hands in the draft. I wouldn't mind seeing the Skins grab him anytime between rounds 3 and 5. |

Re: Wow Factor Combine Players
I think Jeremy Zuttah who can play with nastyness and is athletic and will be the type of player that would help us on the offensive line. Versatile offensive lineman with experience at both guard and tackle positions... I think with Bugel teaching him the ropes he could fit in well! Just depends if we can get him in the mid to late rounds. Good value after getting a pass rushing DE with the first pick. Then WR can be address later either in other picks as this is a deep wr draft or through free agency. Would love to see Roy williams as a skin or Dj Hackett.

Branden Albert. If we can't get Chris Long, let's take the next best Wahoo, fills a need position and is best guard on the board. Dream scenario would have in the 2nd but he probably will go late 1st early 2nd.

Did anyone see what his 40 time was? I watched him in a lot of games & I was often surprised that for a dude that was supposed to be a burner, he usually didn't get much separation from db's. He is only 5'10, but he can return punts & I think upgrading there would be worth taking him in the 3rd. Also, he might not be an ideal west coast o guy, but he can get some YAC. |

Re: Wow Factor Combine Players
just saw that Royal ran a 4.39, amazing that's what VT had for him as well. They must be getting more accurate times these days on campus.
Devin Thomas looked really good & I like what I've read about him, sounds like a ball player, a tough dude that will make the little & big plays. Desean Jackson still scares me with his Desmond Howardness. At one time I thought he'd be a great pick. He might actually be there at #21 given the concerns w/his 160 lb. frame. |

love B. Albert, I think he's ready to play immediately. He's 23 & mature, physically & mentally.

Re: Wow Factor Combine Players
Glenn dorsey could be this year's Warren Sapp. Sapp fell to #12 when he failed a drug test. Dorsey's injuries are a concern now, but he's too good to pass up.

Re: Wow Factor Combine Players
trevor laws looks good, mcfadden busted out a 4.27 and 4.33... long looked better than zuttah, but there's a ton of good OTs this year.
desean jackson coming in 5'9" and 169 lbs, then running a 4.31 and 4.35 wasn't very impressive (2 or 3 others ran 4.37s, and caldwell looked much better in other events (shuttle, 3 cone) and he's taller). |

Re: Wow Factor Combine Players
It looks like Dorsey could be this years Alan Branch. Up to early April of last year he was regarded as the top DT pick and many mock drafts had the Redskins pick him at #6 but after a lousy combine and motivation questions he fell to the second round. I don't think has any motivation questions but his lingering injury might hurt him at the combine. Better for us if he falls to the 21st spot though.
