I'm not bashing him, I just see the writing on the wall.. and I'm sick and tired of the excuses about him not having enough playing time. Sorry, but he doesn't have what it takes IMO.... BUT having said that I'm hoping I'm wrong and he does get better for the sake of the Skins.

And No, I didn't get his autograph.. I didn't ask for it. My son got Collins and Brennan's.

G-men 30
Skins 24

G-men win partly because we are still sorting out our new offensive system and it will be a night full of emotion because the Giants are going to be at home for the first time since they won the Superbowl.

I don't think that's the case at all. The preseason is for evaluating, and while you can get a glimpse of things in practice the only way to really evaluate players is during games. Some guys just make plays, hence the love affair with Colt Brennan.

I think Zorn is smart enough to get his playmakers the ball in a position to make plays. He wasn't able to do that in the last two preseason games with the 1st teamers, but I'm sure he will figure it out sooner rather than later.

Giants 27
Redskins 10

Sorry, but for a different outcome, I feel that the Redskins defense needs to score some points.

It was to me. Just playing with you Matty. I think it is going to be a decent game, just with us on the L side of the coin when it is over. It is going to take some time to get the new O scheme down pat and JC needs more reps, unfortunately it is going to be during the big show where the Ws and Ls count.

Re: Redskins/Giants Predictions

I think this is going to be a very close one. Spagnuolo is a top notch D-coordinator, and that crowd will be deafening - first home game since the Super Bowl, NFL Season Opener, prime time game, division rival... plenty of reasons for that place to be insanely loud. They'll throw the house at JC, and given how shaky we've looked recently, its going to be hard to establish rhythm.

I see one, maybe two scoring drives for the offense, and I think the D will give us a short field once or twice with turnovers. I really, really hope Jason Taylor can play. I would love to see he and Andre pin their ears back and go full steam for Eli. Nothing would take that crowd out of the game like seeing that little mop-headed aw shucks punk pansy eat dirt a few times.

Giants in a close game, 21-17.

Redskins 17
Giants 16

The Giants don't scare me at all. They're a totally different team from last year, and they're horrible at home. With that being said I think this is going to be a very close game and it really could go either way. I am very concerned about Zorn's performance, and the Redskins in general, in a game that actually counts.

Well we are talking about a guy with less than 20 starts and he's had to learn 3 different NFL offenses. IMO he's going to need a full year in this offense. Whether he gets it is another story.

I think the Carolina game left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Their first team simply manhandled our first team. They beat us down right in the trenches.

Forgot about that. It's still kind of hard to believe the Giants beat them in the big game. What a massive upset.
